About the application
Welcome to the Summertime Sip Festival! This application is for a 10x10 booth for craft and artisan vendors who sell wine-related products. Your booth rental includes one rectangular table and two chairs. Wineries must provide their own pop-up tents, if desired. One rectangular table and 2 chairs are included with each booth. Multiple booths may be purchased (maximum of 3). No electricity is available.
This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
Please read the entirety of the Terms & Conditions before proceeding:
The festival footprint will be open for setup at 9:00 AM. Please arrive in a timely manner to ensure you have adequate time to offload, move your items to your booth area, and be set up by 11:30 AM.
The festival runs from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM, and vendors are NOT permitted to pack up or vacate their booth space before 5:00 PM.
If you cannot attend after your application and fee have been processed, you must notify Albemarle Downtown by May 15 at 5:00 PM ET to receive a full refund.
As in previous years, a copy of a certificate of liability insurance must be submitted from your insurance underwriter, naming Albemarle Downtown Development Corporation as the Certificate Holder. We are requiring all vendors to provide proof of liability coverage with a limit of $1,000,000 each occurrence/$2,000,000 aggregate. In speaking with our insurance carrier, we also recommend that you list Albemarle Downtown Development Corporation as additional insured.
If you do not have general liability coverage, you may purchase a one-day concessionaire/vendor/food truck liability policy. Two carriers that offer this type of coverage are USLI and K&K. (Albemarle Downtown does not endorse USLI or K&K). The insurance carrier will request the estimated number of customers served: we expect to have 1,000 attendees at the festival, but not all 1,000 will visit each vendor.
We advise all vendors to speak with their insurance agents regarding liability coverage for this event. Albemarle Downtown Development Corporation’s insurance coverage provides no coverage to vendors participating in the Summertime Sip Festival.
You must also complete and sign the Summertime Sip Festival General Liability Waiver Form, included in this application. Both your certificate of liability insurance and your signed general liability waiver form must be submitted by Tuesday, May 27, at 12:00 PM ET.
