About the application

GREETINGS ARTISTS & ARTS & CRAFTS VENDORS!

Welcome to the fifth annual 2025 Juneteenth Jubilee: Sovereign! We are delighted to bring back this communiity celebration of history, unity, and Black American culture and contributions. Our goal is to provide a thoughtful, inclusive, educational, and joyfully entertaining event for all. An important element of the work of CSDD that we bring to all of our events is art. As a artist, artisan, or arts & crafts vendor, we look forward to the ways you will enrich the Jubilee through creative goods and artistic expression! This year, we will be uplifting the accomplishments and contributions of Black Women in the culture and in our community.

Please note: The Jubilee is being held in Festival Park where they may be some access to power but it is not guaranteed. If you have a need for electricity, you should be prepared to supply your own (ideally) silent generator.

Additionally - this event takes place in mid-June in North Carolina. All vendors should consider the possible temperatures, and prepare appropriately.

***This is a rain/shine event - there will be no rain date***

About the event

The Juneteenth Jubilee festival is designed to provide a welcoming, educating, and entertaining event for our community and visitors alike, focused on the history of the holiday, as well as promoting a spirit of unity and progress. The theme for 2025, Juneteenth Jubilee: Sovereign, honors the history of our ancestors while also uplifting the present day accomplishments and contributions of Black Women, both in the culture and locally in our community. Organizers are curating a showcase of artists and performers that uplift Black history, expression, agency, liberation, and joy.
