About the event

Make your upcoming gift buying easy. Don’t worry about crowded stores, empty shelves, or parking. The Sunriver Women’s Club (SRWC) Virtual Winter Craft Fair will be open from November 1 - December 31, 2021. You can shop safely and easily, any time of the day, from the comfort of your home. Select the perfect gift, big or small, for every person on your list. Find holiday-themed decorations for your home. The fair has a wide selection of unique items, elegant to whimsical and more, created by amazing artists who have juried into the top art fairs in the Pacific Northwest. The impact of the pandemic on so many people has been devastating. Some buyers have been unable to attend holiday markets or stores because of their own or a loved one’s health challenges. The virtual fair makes holiday shopping easy and safe. Buyers can purchase multiple items from one site and in one transaction. Complete your shopping list early, then enjoy the season’s festivities knowing everyone on your list will love the original, quality gifts you’ve selected at our online winter craft fair. Artists wishing to apply to the SRWC Winter Craft Fair can find application here.

About the application

The Sunriver Women’s Club Virtual Winter Crafts Fair builds on our summer 2021 virtual art fair. Buyers and artists have expressed the desire for online opportunities to participate in fairs while avoiding crowds. Our Winter Crafts Fair features artists who have successfully juried into some of the best live shows in the Northwest. Their works reflect a range of price points and crafts. The online format allows buyers to shop original works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Items with a winter holiday theme are permitted. Successful price points are most likely between $15 and $80. You do need an Eventeny shop to participate. Setting up your shop is not difficult. WHO WE ARE For 11 years, the Sunriver Women’s Club (SRWC) has sponsored a three-day art fair in the beautiful residential and resort community of Sunriver, Oregon. This year, we added our first annual Virtual Sunriver Art Fair from August 13 to September 26. We wanted to support artists through an online marketplace that expanded opportunities beyond in-person events that may have artist and buyer attendance restrictions due to Covid. The fair is organized and run by volunteers, and the proceeds help fund local services to improve the lives of our neighbors. All net proceeds support our philanthropy efforts. Since 2000, the SRWC has distributed over $750,000 in cash and goods to organizations that provide essential services to women, children, families, and seniors, as well as educational opportunities for the community. Based on our experience with the virtual art fair we decided to expand our support for artists and buyers with The Virtual Winter Crafts Fair. We are providing the same excellent support and care for our Virtual Art Fair exhibitors that we give our on-site artists, including great advertising in both print and social media publicity to drive buyers to artist stores, and support as needed for artists new to the Eventeny platform. WHY JOIN THIS EVENT? * We are seeking artists and craftspeople who create unique items at price points primarily between $15 and $80. * The application fee is $15. The shop fee is $40 for two months with ongoing social media advertising. * We take no percentage of sales. * We selected Eventany as our fair platform because artists report it is easy to create (and modify) their shops and because buyers indicate it is easy and familiar to navigate and purchase multiple items from different artists at one time.
