- Application Fee (if your application is not accepted you be refunded - if you are accepted and pull out after June 1st, refunds are not available).
- Signature on Health & Responsibility Agreement
- At least 4 pictures of your setup and products to be sold
- If a food/beverage truck a copy of your COI
About the event
Terms & Conditions
We do not guarantee spots to any participating vendor. Spots are allocated based on spacing and availability. If you are a returning vendor, you are not guaranteed the same spot as the previous year(s).
Due to the scope and magnitude of the NC Hot Sauce Contest, it is impossible to schedule a rain date or indoor alternative site. Therefore, if the Hot Sauce Contest and Festival is restricted or interfered with, or canceled by reason of natural catastrophes or acts of God, earthquake, fire, lightning strikes, emanating rain and flooding, or other casualty or due to strikes, riots, explosions, acts of God, war, terrorism, or a similar occurrence or condition beyond the reasonable control of the City of Oxford, registration fees will not be refunded. The NC Hot Sauce Contest is a non-profit event, with all revenues used to cover event costs and entertainment contracts, making registration fees nonrefundable after June 1, 2025.
This form is an application for participation and is not a guarantee of space at the NC Hot Sauce Contest. The festival reserves the right to refuse any vendor application if deemed by the organizing committee. Once all applications have been reviewed, we will notify each vendor by email whether or not you were selected to participate in the festival. If you are not selected, your money will be refunded. All information contained herein is subject to change without notice.
Confirmation - Vendors will receive a confirmation email stating your application has been received. An email with instructions, a map, and set-up times approximately 5-7 days before the event will be sent. This will include your booth location and number.
We do not guarantee spots for any participating vendor. Spots are allocated based on spacing and availability, with the understanding that this is a 2-day event.
Participants will need to have their tent set up for the full 2 days of the event. It is important to note that participants are responsible for securing their merchandise, as the City of Oxford will not be liable for any damaged or stolen items. However, for added security, the Oxford Police Department will provide overnight security during the event.
