About the event

The 22nd Annual Chain of Parks Art Festival is North Florida’s premiere outdoor fine art festival. Located in downtown Tallahassee along Park Avenue, the festival provides an opportunity for art lovers and artists to connect over the weekend. Expect to have a first-class, fun-filled outdoor cultural experience. View amazing, original, and one-of-a-kind works of art from 150 fine artists in a delightful Southern outdoor setting. Live entertainment will be available, along with local food trucks, chalk artists, and libations served by Il Lusso at the festival bar. The Evening Groove is BACK! Featuring Tallahassee Nights Live! group. Get ready to dance in the streets and celebrate having the Chain of Parks Festival back in full swing. The festival has expanded this year to offer new and exciting programs to bring the community unique fine art experiences such as FSU’s Opening Nights Special Presenting Artist event with artist Lana Shuttleworth and an Artist Workshop at LeMoyne Arts, all leading up to the festival weekend with Artists in the Park April 23-24, 2022!

About the application

The Village is an area within the Festival that provides opportunities for community connections to an estimated 35-40,000+ enthusiastic visitors! The purpose of this area is to promote organizations that support the arts in our community. The Village incorporates Community Partners, Brand Ambassadors, Pop-Up Studios, and the historical Jacques Le Moyne Encampment, with fun foods, entertainment, and more! Brand Ambassadors enjoy the opportunity to engage with our estimated 35-40,000+ art enthusiastic visitors! Your participation in the Festival provides the following benefits: -Outreach opportunities to estimated 35-40,000+ visitors to the festival interested in art -Listing in the Festival Program distributed to hotels, sponsors and at the festival -10 x 10 booth space -Two Staff Badges to “Behind the Scenes” and one reserved Parking Pass -Digital festival postcard available for pre-show promotion Important Dates Setup Times, Schedule & Information Provided: Late March/Early April 2022 Event Set-Up: Friday, April 22, 2022 Event Dates: April 23 & 24, 2022 Event Times: Saturday from 10am – 5pm, with an Evening Groove from 5:30-7:30pm, Sunday, from 10am – 4pm

Terms & Conditions

Requirements to participate: 1.) Booth space is limited. Applications will be accepted for review until January 31, 2022. If space is available late, applications will be considered with a $25.00 late fee. 2.) The fee to participate is $500 and will automatically be processed unless you have made other arrangements with the Festival Manager before Jan. 31, 2022. Booth space is limited and will not be confirmed until payment is received. 3.) Booth cancellations are non-refundable after February 15, 2022. A $50.00 administrative fee will be charged for cancellations prior to February 15, 2022. Refunds will be given within 30 days. 4.) Vendor fees will not be refunded if the festival must be canceled due to inclement weather, acts of God, or any other circumstance deemed necessary by Chain of Parks Art Festival and city officials. 5.) Booth set up begins at 6pm on April 22, 2022. Booths must be set up by 9pm am on April 22 and disassembled by 6pm on April 24. All vehicles must be moved to designated parking by 9pm on Friday, April 22 or they will be subject to towing from festival grounds. 6.) Our organization agrees to not sell any products or charge for any services during our participation. In fairness to all vendors at the Festival, we understand that we are not permitted to sell any art or other products. Water or other concessions may not be given away from your booth space. You are welcome to offer taste-testing samples, information regarding your business, and marketing items. 7.) Our organization agrees to have at least one representative present at our booth to help supervise the art activity during all Festival hours. 8.) Vendors supply their own booth tables, chairs and small tents (no larger than 10x10). Vendor tents must be properly weighted down; stakes are not permitted. 9.) Chain of Parks Art Festival is held outdoors on city streets and in parks. Electricity is available for purchase for $25.00 per plug (20 AMPS). 2022 GENERAL RELEASE OF CLAIMS & HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. does NOT provide liability insurance for the protection of persons, vendors, entertainers, merchants, organizations, spectators or others who participate in any LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. event. In consideration of participating in the Chain of Parks Art Festival, I do hereby release and forever discharge LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC., its members, officers, employees, agents, servants, volunteers and sponsors from any and all actions, negligence, causes of actions, claims and demands, for any damage, loss or injury, which hereafter may be sustained by me or my organization in connection with or relating to any LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. event. This release extends to, applies to, covers and includes all known, unknown, disclosed, unforeseen, unanticipated and unsuspected injuries, damages, losses and liabilities, and the consequences thereof, notwithstanding the provisions of any state, federal, local or territorial law or statute to the contrary. Such provisions are hereby expressly waived. It is further understood and agreed that my/my organization’s participation in any LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. event is not to be construed as an admission of liability or the assumption of any responsibility by LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC., its members, officers, employees, agents, servants, volunteers and/or sponsors for any act or omission by me or any member(s) of my organization. I hereby agree on behalf of my organization, its heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns to indemnify LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. and its members, officers, employees, agents, servants, volunteers and sponsors, jointly and severally, and to hold them harmless from and against any and all actions, negligence, claims, demands and liabilities, loss damages and expense of whatever kind or nature, including attorney fees, which may from any organizations participation in the LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. event. Furthermore, I agree that the venue for any claim or matter relating to this agreement shall be Leon County, Florida. LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC., The City of Tallahassee and The Tallahassee Police Department reserve the right to remove any misrepresented or inappropriate material or persons from any LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. event, including but not limited to, The Village. Non-compliance with Chain of Parks Art Festival’s directive, rules and/or regulations will result in the forfeiture of my/my organization’s booth and immediate closure by the Tallahassee Police Department and LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC.

20amp Power Access $25 Non-refundable We do have the ability to get you power (20amp) if you bring your own extension cords, but access will be limited.
10x10 Booth Space (PAY BY CHECK) $0 Non-refundable PAY BY CHECK option: The fee to participate is $500, to have access to 25amp power is an additional $25.
