Walking Groups

**THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT**

This application is for local walking groups wishing to participate in the 2025 404 Day Parade.

Definition of a Walking Group: A walking group, as defined by parade standards, is any group of individuals participating in the parade on foot - or a non-motorized equipment - that meets the following criteria:

• Consists of five (5) or more individuals walking together under a common theme, purpose, or organization.
• Includes community organizations, performance ensembles, themed participants (e.g., costumes or coordinated attire), or any collection of individuals walking together under a shared banner or purpose.
• Does not utilize floats, vehicles, or other motorized equipment.
• Can include bicycles, skateboards, and other non-motorized equipment.
• Adheres to the parade’s guidelines for spacing, safety, and orderly conduct throughout the parade route.
• Applications for organizations identified as corporate, small business, non-profit, and/or political groups will not be accepted. Those groups should fill out the proper application for parade inclusion.

IMPORTANT: NOTHING MAY BE THROWN BY PARADE PARTICIPANTS, INCLUDING FROM FLOATS, VEHICLES, OR WALKING GROUPS.
