Food Vendor Terms & ConditionsBy applying to be a food vendor at a Baltimore City Recreation & Parks (BCRP) event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Application & Selection Process- Submission of an application does not guarantee selection for the event.
- BCRP will review all applications and select vendors based on event needs and menu diversity.
2. Health & Permit Requirements- All food vendors must obtain a one-day food permit from the Baltimore City Health Department.
- Vendors are responsible for ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- If approved, vendors must return to their application and upload a copy of their one-day food permit before the event.
- Failure to provide proof of a valid permit may result in removal from the event without refund.
3. Vendor Promotion Requirements- Selected vendors must promote the event they are working across all their social media platforms and tag Baltimore City Recreation & Parks (BCRP) in their posts.
- In return, Baltimore City Recreation & Parks (BCRP) will also promote participating vendors to highlight and support locally owned businesses.
4. Setup & Timeliness- Vendors must be fully set up and ready to operate at least one (1) hour before the event start time.
- Late arrivals will be subject to an inconvenience fee, which must be paid before the vendor can be considered for future events.
5. Vendor Fees & Payment- Vendor fees are due immediately upon approval.
- If payment is not received, the vendor will not be permitted to participate in the event.
6. Vendor Selection & Menu Requirements- Each event will feature 2-3 food vendors.
- To ensure a diverse selection and avoid competition, vendors must submit a detailed menu with their application. BCRP reserves the right to limit similar offerings to maximize vendor success.
7. Vendor Responsibilities- Vendors are responsible for providing their own tables, chairs, and tents.
- Vendors must maintain a clean and sanitary workspace throughout the event.
- Vendors must fully clean their area and remove all trash after the event.
8. Event Logistics- Load-in packets will be sent one (1) week prior to the event.
- Packets will include a map of the venue, parking instructions, and other essential details.
9. Compliance & Penalties- Failure to comply with these terms may result in removal from the event and disqualification from future participation.
- BCRP reserves the right to enforce all guidelines to ensure a smooth and successful event.
By submitting an application, the vendor acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
Baltimore City Recreation & Parks (BCRP) reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
