About the application
Registration is required to join the parade. Please complete the form by Friday, June 27. If you know you want to join but don't have all the details - don't worry - you can revisit this page and update your entry.
- This year we’re celebrating with a timeless Red, White, and Blue parade! Let your imagination run wild and share your unique take on what Independence Day means to you!
- Float line up starts at 7:30 a.m. General line up is not preassigned, you will be lined up at arrival.
- Pedestrians and bike line-up starts at 8:00 a.m. A limited supply of red, white and blue decorations will be available for decorating bikes!
- The parade starts at 8:30 a.m. (map will be sent out closer to event).
- Parade route is ~1.5 miles at < 5mph *pace is set by the marching band
- If you plan to toss goodies you MUST have a safety walker at each side of each vehicle.
Parade contest entries can win one of three awards!
1st Place - $150 gift card
2nd Place - $100 gift card
3rd Place - $75 gift card
Float winners are chosen by public vote: QR codes will be posted along the parade route, on each float and during the Pancake Festival. Winners will be announced during the event.
The parade will follow Rock Creek Parkway and end at Community Park where you can join in the festival fun!

Terms & Conditions
Driver must have a valid driver’s license.Driver shall have view of riders at all times.All participants riding on open floats shall have solid sitting arrangement with handholds readily available to them.Any standing participant shall have a means to prevent falling from the unit.Children must be under adult supervision and seated at all times.No smoking is allowed on any float.Decorations must be non-combustible or flame-retardant.Riders are to remain on float once the parade begins and at all times when the float is in motion.Throwing candy or other objects from a float or vehicle is prohibited. Underhand tossing is allowed only if the float has safety walkers stationed next to the float.
