About the application

Participate in the 27th Annual Taste of Marietta Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 11:00 am-7:00 pm! This fun event, an annual favorite of the community, is designed to promote and showcase the restaurants of Marietta and Cobb County. The festival uses all four sides of the Square and has had great success! Taste of Marietta is considered a city sanctioned event. As you are aware, during city sanctioned events, restaurants located on the Marietta Square are able to set up a booth during the event. We would be delighted if every restaurant on the Marietta Square participated and we want to make it easy for you! The $500 registration fee is reduced for Marietta Square restaurants and is only $300.

Terms & Conditions

This is an application to reserve your space. Due to excessive demand of the festival, a restaurant selection process is instituted every year. Space is limited. Not all applicants will be chosen. The registration fee includes: • 10’x10’ tented space • One 8 foot table & 2 chairs • Promotional materials and inclusion in festival advertising • Booth banner with your restaurant name Each restaurant is required to give a $500 deposit. The deposit will be returned to you in November as long as the rules and regulations are followed and your area is clean upon check out the day of the festival. PLEASE NOTE: Due to health department requirements, ALL COMPLETED FORMS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY SEPTEMBER 17, 2021. Please submit your application ASAP! If you have had a health inspection done since October 24, 2020, then you can post the inspection form in your festival booth space the day of the festival. If it was done before October 24, 2020, then you will need to fill out the health department forms and pay $60. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF TERMS By submitting my application via Eventeny.com, I hereby make my application to participate in the 2021 Taste of Marietta festival at the Marietta Square. I have read, understood and agree to abide by the rules and regulations set forth and other rules as may be established and presented at my acceptance. I release and forever discharge the 2021 Taste of Marietta, the City of Marietta, Marietta Visitors Bureau, its staff, and volunteers, from any responsibility, personal liability, loss, claims or damages arising out of, or in conjunction with the 2021 Taste of Marietta festival.

Prices

Vendor space $300.00 Non-refundable Vendor space includes (1) 10'x10' tented space, (1) 8' table, (2) chairs *Note: if applying for more than one space, please note if spaces should be together or in separate locations
Health Department Fee $60.00 Non-refundable The health department inspections now cost $60. If you are a Marietta Square restaurant and received a health department inspection since October 24, 2020, then you can post the form in your booth the day of the festival.
Barricade/fencing for smokers/open flame grills $35.00 Non-refundable **Each piece of fencing is 4 ft high and 6 ft wide. Please read note regarding barricades.
Electricity $50.00 Non-refundable Purchase if you need electricity the day of the festival. Please note electricity is NOT included in your registration. 10 amps outlet -- Two outlets max NO generators are allowed! Please read rules and regulations regarding electricity.
Extra Tables (8 ft. tables) $15.00 Non-refundable
Extra Chairs $4.00 Non-refundable
T-shirts $15.00 Non-refundable Please include sizes
Roaming Advertising (see rules and regulations) $250.00 Non-refundable You are allowed to promote your restaurant at your booth, but you must have a Roaming Advertising Permit - purchased in advanced – to hand out samples/coupons/postcards away from your booth. You may not sell food when roaming, but you may pass out free samples. The cost of this permit is $250 per person. The use of megaphones while roaming is prohibited. Vendors violating the Roaming Advertising regulations will immediately forfeit the $500 deposit.

It will be a sample from which all 5 judges can have a bite or small serving of. Judges will be provided with silverware, plates, and napkins.
