About the registration
The City of San Leandro is looking to provide festival participants with a wealth of information about volunteering, health/fitness, academic enrichment, faith-based groups, the arts, and much more. The City strongly encourages you to apply as a community resource for the Cherry Festival and share information about your agency with thousands of community members.
A Cherry Festival Community Resource is an agency that provides important information pertaining to children, families, seniors, or other valuable social services in the San Leandro community. A community resource must be a certified 501(c)3 non-profit organization registered as a charity with the California Attorney General, 501(c)4 membership organization, or a governmental agency.
As political or religious activity does not meet the intent of the Cherry Festival and could give the appearance of religious preference, campaigning, or advocacy on the part of the City, it is not permitted.
Applications for Community Resources will be evaluated on the following criteria:
1. Quality of information provided;
2. Uniqueness/non-duplication of information;
3. Returning community resources in good standing with the City;
4. San Leandro-based non-profit community resource;
5. Date that the completed entry is received.
Exhibitor acceptance decisions are at the sole discretion of the City. The Festival reserves the right to admit duplicate businesses or extend exclusivity based on Festival size and needs.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
Your application is not complete until you have uploaded all necessary documents to Eventeny.
Please note that all Community Resource Exhibitors must pay a REFUNDABLE booth deposit of $150. The refund will be processed the week following the event. If your organization does not show up for the festival or leaves prior to the end of the festival, your booth deposit will be forfeited.
Participant Acceptance and Notifications
Your credit card will be charged the refundable $150 booth space deposit upon acceptance as an exhibitor.
A refundable $50 cleaning deposit will also be charged to your credit card on May 15, 2025. Cleaning deposits will be refunded to your original payment method within seven days of the event. Please note: you must have your booth area inspected and approved by festival staff before leaving the festival grounds in order to receive your refund. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of your cleaning deposit.
All accepted applicants will receive more detailed information via email by mid-May regarding access times, booth setup, parking passes, security, and more. Load-in starts at approximately 6:00 a.m. on June 7th, and vendors must be present until the festival ends at 6:00 p.m.
If your application is "waitlisted," your credit card will not be charged until your participation is confirmed.
Cancellations
The San Leandro Cherry Festival is a rain-or-shine event! Your deposit will be refunded after you participate in the festival.

- The San Leandro Cherry Festival is a rain or shine event! After your application has been accepted, your booth deposit will only be returned upon completion of participation at the festival.
- A limited number of Exhibitors in any category will be accepted to the Festival. Decisions are at the sole discretion of the City and based on, but not limited to: The best interest of the festival, history, level of investment, payment, and date of paperwork received. The Festival reserves the right to admit duplicate businesses based on the Festival needs and size. Exclusivity may be extended at the Festival’s discretion.
- The City of San Leandro does not guarantee vendor/exhibitor sales.
- Exhibitors are required to operate the entire time that the Cherry Festival is open from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Exhibitors, their staff, employees, and agents must comply with all policies, fire codes, laws, ordinances, and regulations pertinent to health, fire prevention and public safety. Failure to comply may result in expulsion from the event without a refund.
- All booths MUST have a tent. Exhibitors are required to supply their own tent, tables, and chairs or rent them through the City of San Leandro.
- Booth locations are not guaranteed and are made at the discretion of Festival management.
- Exhibitor shall be liable for delivery; handling, set up and removal of his/her own displays and equipment. All displays, merchandise, equipment and staff must be contained within the assigned booth space (items cannot be hung on the outside of the tent.) Please note this will be strictly enforced.
- No amplified music, walkway solicitation or “barking” is allowed. Staff/Personnel must remain INSIDE your assigned booth. Walking the grounds to sell merchandise or hand out fliers is strictly prohibited.
- Exhibitors must obtain written permission from the City prior to using the City of San Leandro’s logo, festival logo, or any logo from the City of San Leandro website in connection with their business.
- Political activity is restricted to the Free Speech area and is not allowed in any other area of the festival.
- Electricity is not provided. However, small personal generators are allowed, but must have a fire extinguisher within 5 feet.
- By signing, you are agreeing to the City of San Leandro's Hold Harmless Agreement as described below.
