Join us for Sip & Stroll Presented by PNC from 5-8 p.m. on the Southbank Riverwalk on the Third Thursday of every month. For Fall we are partnering with cultural organizations to celebrate our diverse community. JaxFilipinos presents “Pearls of the Orient,” a multidisciplinary presentation of the past, present and future of the Philippines and Filipino Americans. This will be an experience featuring Live Art, Music , Dance and education. We will be activating the entire RiverWalk with areas featuring Pre-Colonial Philippines, the Present Day Filipinx local art scene and Filipinx Futurism: A vision of the future of Filipino Culture! As a gift to Jacksonville and in honor of one of our beloved pastimes, we are celebrating with a “90’s Throwback” party around the Friendship Fountain! Local Filipino vendors will be selling goods as well as local Filipino food trucks and restaurants. Stroll alongside the St. Johns River between Chart House and Friendship Fountain during sunset, with a drink in hand, stopping to grab food, drinks and photo ops as you go. This event is free to attend with purchases available on site. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, lawn chairs, and dogs on leashes! Alcoholic beverages in a branded Sip & Stroll cup are permitted on the Riverwalk during the event and are provided at either one of the Riverwalk bars.
