About the event

The First Wednesday Art Walk is a monthly, family-friendly event produced by Downtown Vision (DVI), the Business Improvement District, to bring people to the cultural and historical center of the city and showcase Jacksonville’s deep and energetic pool of creative talent. Art Walk is open to visual and performing artists on the first Wednesday of every month from 5–9 p.m., rain or shine. Art Walk venues stretch across Downtown Jacksonville’s Northbank core and include James Weldon Johnson Park, The Jessie, The Breezeway at VyStar Tower, galleries, museums, restaurants, bars, Downtown businesses, and more. The First Wednesday Art Walk is a great way to meet fellow artists, buy and appreciate their work, and be part of Jacksonville's rapidly growing art scene. We are so excited to return to the streets of #DTJax after a year and a half with no Art Walk due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Please be sure to keep respectful distances and enjoy the event responsibly.
