GENERAL INFORMATION & AGREEMENTBy reading the information below and submitting this online Artist Market Application & Agreement, you are agreeing to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the event organizers in the 2024 Wire & Wood Songwriters Festival and made a part hereof by reference. 1) ARTIST MARKET BOOTH SPACE IS LIMITED. The event organizers will review each application and notify the vendor of acceptance to the festival by email by August 12, 2024. The event organizer has control over the applications accepted to the festival and reserves the right to limit booths of similar type. ALL DECISIONS OF THE ORGANIZERS ARE FINAL. Please understand the City of Alpharetta is unable to discuss acceptance or non-acceptance by telephone or email. 2) ONLY PRODUCTS AND DISPLAYS detailed in this application can be sold at the event. The vendor must be present at the event booth throughout the festival unless other arrangements have been made with festival organizers. Vendors must describe/list on the application items to be sold at the festival. If a vendor conducts activities or features displays that were not listed on the application OR has misrepresented their business in any way, the festival organizers reserve the right to ask the organization to leave the festival. 3) RAIN OR SHINE the Wire & Wood Songwriters Festival will be held. 4) A 10’ x 10’ OR 10' x 20' SPACE will be provided to each vendor for both days unless a larger space is requested and approved in advance. VENDOR MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING IF NEEDED; Tent (40lb weight on each tent leg is required), table, chair and battery operated lights for booth set up and operation. 5) Electric requests must be made in advance through this application and special requests are not guaranteed. 6) BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS, load in/out, and set up/breakdown instructions will be issued via email at least 2 weeks prior to the event. We will try our best to accommodate special requests. 7) THE CITY OF ALPHARETTA is not responsible for the loss or damage of merchandise. 8) Proof of vendor general liability insurance that names, as additional insured, the "City of Alpharetta, its officers, employees, and agents" and any other public entities (e.g. County, volunteers, etc.) impacted by your operations with waiver of subrogation in regards to workers compensation. Insurance coverage must be maintained for the duration of the event including setup and cleanup dates.
-Vendor General Liability $1,000,000 each occurence $1,000,000 aggregate 9) The vendor is required to collect and remit Georgia state and local sales taxes on facilitated retail sales at the event. 10) LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE: Vendors/participants assume all responsibility for, and risks and hazards of, participation in the rental activity planned by organization. In considerations of the City of Alpharetta providing permission to use the space requested, vendors/participants and all members of rental group, do hereby release the City of Alpharetta, including all officials, officers, employees, sponsors, organizers, supervisors, volunteers, participants, and all other agents, of any and all claims, demands, rights, and causes of action of whatever kind and nature, arising from and by reason of, and all known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, bodily and personal injuries, damage to property, and the consequences thereof, resulting from participation in the rental activity planned in the City of Alpharetta.
