About the application

Food Vendor Applications MUST be completely filled out and submitted by April 15, 2024. Vendors will be invoiced for non-refundable payment due by May 1, 2024. The Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce (LSRCC), Old Town School of Folk Music (OTSFM) and Big Buzz Idea Group (BBIG) are not responsible for applications that do not include the necessary documentation.Vendors filing late applications (after 4-15-24) and/or late payments (after 5-15-24) will be assessed a 25% late fee. Vendors with outstanding debt to LSRCC, OTSFM or City of Chicago will not be allowed to participate until outstanding financial obligations are rectified.This is a rain or shine event. Inclement weather or Acts of God will not result in the cancellation of the event or the refunding of fees.
Application due date: April 15, 2024 
Payment and Final Menu due date: May 15, 2024 (you will be invoiced after application is received and approved.)
Supporting paperwork due date: June 1, 2024Participation fees: range from $2,150-$2,750 (prepared food) and $1,250-$1,650 (specialty foods)

Submission of a Vendor Application does not guarantee participation in the event. All applications are reviewed by the Festival Committee and notified of their acceptance. Any vendor not approved for the festival will be notified.

A Real Nice Music & Craft Beer Street Fest! Square Roots brings together the best of Lincoln Square, Chicago, and beyond, with a great lineup of live music, family fun, local restaurants and vendors, and the best craft beer showcase of any Chicago street fest. Join the fun and support non-profit organizations Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce and Old Town School Of Folk Music. Square Roots is Friday July 12, Saturday July 13, and Sunday July 14. Join us in Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood on Lincoln Avenue between Montrose & Wilson. Easily accessible from CTA Brown Line Western stop.

Terms & Conditions

LSRCC discounted fee applies to Chamber members in good standing. To qualify for LSRCC membership, the membership application must be current as of March 15, 2024. PREPARED FOOD: $2,150 LSRCC member fee / $2,750 general participant fee 
+$75 required City of Chicago Special Event Food License Fee (fee waived with proof of City of Chicago 180 Day Special Event Food Booth License)
A prepared food vendor:
- prepares, cooks and sells multiple savory food items on-site. Fee listed is for one 10' x 15' space.
* Two (2) or more spaces needed are available at 50% of the prepared food vendor fee ($1,075 LSRCC member fee / $1,375 general participant fee)
SPECIALTY FOOD: $1,250 LSRCC member fee / $1,650 general participant fee +$75 required City of Chicago Special Event Food License Fee (fee waived with proof of 180 Day Special Event Food Booth License)A specialty food vendor:
- sells (and may prepare onsite) up to 5 offerings of one type of dessert food item for consumption on-site (examples: ice cream, donuts, smoothies). Fee listed is for one 10' x 10' space. 
- selling more than 5 offerings of one type of dessert food item for consumption on-site (examples: ice cream, donuts,  smoothies)  OR additional types of food items incurs added fees at $150 per item.
