A coastal favorite, the Jekyll Island Shrimp & Grits Festival combines the classic southern dish with family-friendly entertainment, artists market, live music, food, and more. About the application

This Georgia Grown Food Court application is only for active Georgia Grown Members. Membership will be authenticated.
All accepted Georgia Grown Food Court participants will be located in the NEW Expanded Georgia Grown Alley. 

Terms & Conditions

Requirements:
·         Download, read and follow all Requirements & Regulations
·         Download, read and follow the “Vendor Guidelines for Waste Reduction and Recycling”
·         Non-refundable application fee: $40.00
·         Applicant must provide five (5) Images:
o   One (1) authentic outside image of the entire food truck or booth
§  The image must reflect what the vendor will look like at the Festival.
§  Most of the time an image of the truck/booth is the final deciding factor for acceptance.
o   One (1) image of the menu that will be served at the festival.
§  Pricing must be on the menu and must remain the same for the duration of the festival.
o   Three (3) different images of the food options on your menu for the festival.
·         When accepted Food Court Vendors must provide the following on or before September 25, 2024 or forfeit vendor space: 
o   Food vendor License Agreement (attached to application)
o   Certificate of Liability Insurance in the minimum amount of $1,000,000 with the Jekyll Island Authority listed as additionally insured.
·         An application will be rejected if all requirements are not followed. 

Furthermore, by signing below you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Jekyll Island Authority from any claims whatsoever arising from your participation as a vendor and any theft, loss, or damage to the person or property of the undersigned while in possession or under the supervision of Jekyll Island Authority during the Shrimp & Grits Festival.
 
No refunds or credits will be issued for vendor cancellation, inclement weather cancellation, or an act of God.

Additional Festival Vendor Parking Hangtag for vendor parking lot $25 Non-refundable One (1) Festival vendor parking hangtag will be distributed at load-in. This does not provide free entry to Jekyll Island State Park. Extra hangtags can be purchased at the time of applying for the festival for $25 each. However, they cannot be purchased at load-in time and must be purchased in advance. This hangtags gives you entrance to onsite vendor parking at the festival.
10" x 11" Single $500 Non-refundable Free includes one (1) 110-volt 20 amp, and access to non-potable water.
10' x 21' Double booth $550 Non-refundable Free includes one (1) 110-volt 20 amp, and access to non-potable water.
10' x 31' Triple $600 Non-refundable Free includes one (1) 110-volt 20 amp, and access to non-potable water.

  • I understand that if I’m bringing a generator I must provide a description of it below or the unit will not be scheduled for inspection and permitted for use at the festival.
