Mark your calendar! On the First Friday of every month, thousands of residents and visitors fill the Crossroads Arts District in Kansas City to enjoy what has become the City’s most dynamic and popular event: #FirstFridaysKC. The crossroads community comes alive as arts organizations, galleries, studios, and a wide variety of businesses in the district feature local, regional, national, and international artists. Start your adventure in the hub of it all on 19th Street between Baltimore and Wyandotte! Featuring a beautifully curated selection of Art Garden KC artist & maker booths, live music hosted by ZNTL Entertainment, and live performance art hosted by Crossroads Arts District! Look for the canopies behind Town Topic and Arts KC or simply follow the music! Also check out the Art Alleys between Baltimore and Wyandotte from 18th Street to Southwest Blvd which are filled with more Art Vendors and their individual artistic creations, hosted by Crossroads Art District! The Crossroads Arts District is best explored on foot once you arrive. We recommend making it a day of it with lunch or dinner at one of the many fabulous restaurants, free comedy shows at Bird Comedy Theatre or check out a local craft brewery!

About the application

Calling all KC Businesses & Nonprofits! Align your brand with all things Art, Music & Community in the heart of Crossroads First Fridays, with a growing attendance rate of 20,000 visitors every First Friday!

When: First Fridays, April - Sept
Where: 19th Street between Baltimore & Wyandotte
Time: 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Booth Fee: 10 x 10' space
  • Commercial Rate: $250 per event date + 3% processing fee
  • Nonprofit Rate: $150 per event date + 3% processing fee

    • COMMERCIAL VENDOR: A business/organization that does not fall within our "handmade artist/maker guidelines" and intends to set up to advertise, disseminate information, and/or sell a product, device, or service. You must provide, in detail, the items you are representing and/or selling. We encourage vendors to provide an interactive activity or merch giveaways at their booth. 
    • NON-PROFIT VENDOR: A nonprofit booth is defined as any organization with a 501(c)(3) designation. A copy of your tax-exempt status must be submitted with your application.
    • Vendors must provide their own 10x10 canopy, 20-30lb weights per leg, chairs, tables, tablecloths, and displays. 
    • Commercial/Nonprofit vendors will be given notice once approved for all or some of the dates requested, if spaces are full, you may be added to our waitlist and contacted if spaces come available. If approved, your account will be charged 2 weeks prior to the event date/s, unless you request to pay in full for all dates.
    • Booth locations will be assigned on the event map. Your map location will be viewable 2 weeks prior to the event date. Art Garden reserves the right to make changes to booth locations as needed.

Terms & Conditions

Vendor Restrictions
No food or liquor sales. No MLM companies. No religious orgs/orgs affiliated with a political candidate. 
 
Event Procedures:
Load-in & Load-out 
Decisions to alter the following timeframes and locations will be made by market management and AGKC due to customer and vendor safety, including extreme weather conditions.

Market Hours: 5 pm to 9 pm
Load-in: 3:30-4:45 p.m.
Load-out: 9-10 p.m.
 
  • No vehicles may drive into the Crossroads First Friday footprint on 19th Street between Baltimore & Wyandotte St. during load-in and load-out times.
  • Vendors will utilize street parking or public parking lots and cart their items to the event footprint (see map in your Eventeny vendor profile). Upon arriving at the event footprint, locate an AGKC Site Crew member (dressed in black with an AGKC CREW LOGO’d t-shirt) and check in via your QR Code listed in the approval email. AGKC Site Crew will help you find your booth location if you need assistance. 
  • Vendors must remain set-up until 9:00 p.m. when the event closes. Vendors are required to break down their booth space, clean up trash and cart items to their vehicle. In case of an emergency and you need to leave early, you must alert the AGKC Team at the INFO BOOTH or the Eventeny messaging platform before packing up.
  • Vendors must provide their own 10x10 canopy, 20-30lb weights per leg, chairs, tables, tablecloths, and displays.
  • We highly recommend bringing a cart, wagon or staff to help transport your supplies to the event space. No designated parking or load-in dock will be provided for this event. Parking is public street parking or public lots and at your own discretion.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
  • Cancellations must be made via email (hello@artgardenkc.org) or Eventeny message platform at least 7 days prior to the date for which you are scheduled in order to receive a full refund. 
  • Vendor presence required from start to close; emergency departures notify on-site AGKC Team.
  • This event takes place rain or shine.
    • Cancellations made by Crossroads Arts District due to severe weather conditions or other external limiting factors prior to event start will receive a full refund.
Media & Advertising
Art Garden KC captures photos and videos at all our public events, including footage of vendors, products, booth displays and event activities. These images are used by Art Garden KC and media partners to promote our events, vendors and company. Images may be used in press releases, paid advertising, printed publicity and published on Art Garden KC’s website and social media channels. All images and bios included in vendor applications are intended for use in media promotions at the benefit of the vendor and event organizers. If you would prefer you, your staff or organization not to be photographed at our events, please kindly decline filming/photography on-site or email hello@artgardenkc.org.
 
Vendors are encourage to promote upcoming events using graphics provided by event organizers or using your own graphics/promotions, as well capture day-of event content and post on social media, tagging @artgardenkc - @zntl_ent & @kccrossroads

Property Damage
  • Art Garden Kansas City LLC, Crossroads Arts District, ZNTL Entertainment and its contractors, agents or officials are hereby released from any responsibility or liability for loss or damage of merchandise or property while it is being displayed/stored in this location.
  • Vendors are responsible for their own personal liability and/or general liability insurance.
