About the application

Thank you for applying for the Taylorsville Farmers Market in Taylorsville, Utah.
 
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! 

Booth Fees:
$25 non-refundable application fee for all applicants, due at the time of application. Please note that your application will viewed in the order it was submitted. Booth fees - if you select paying for the full season - will be charged upon submission.
 
Food/Craft Artisans (this includes natural homemade, arts and crafts, resellers, food artisans)
  • $25 per market day (12 weeks).  Early Bird 20% discount if full season is prepaid by June 1, 2024. (Early Bird Rate is $240.00) Late fee is $25.00.
  • We are FULL in these categories:  prepared on-site coffee, taco trucks, crystals vendor. 
Farmers (To qualify as a farmer, you must be the original producer selling unmodified farm products)
  • $10 per market day (12 weeks). Early Bird 20% discount if full season is prepaid by June 1, 2024.  Late fee is $25.00.
Youth Entrepreneurs (17 years of age and younger at the start of the market season)
  • $10 per market day (12 weeks).  Early Bird 20% discount if full season is prepaid by June 1, 2024. Late fee is $25.00.
 
Religious and political groups, petitioning, and signature gathering are not allowed at the Taylorsville Farmers Market.  Any organizations found to be in violation of this will be asked to leave with no refund.
 
IMPORTANT: Choose your dates carefully, and record them on your calendar.  ALL VENDORS (except pre-paid full-season vendors) must prepay no later than the 1st day of each month to be added to the schedule and map for the requested dates that month. Late fee is $25.00.  Cancellation/Change/No-Show fee will be $25 and must be paid before any future attendance is allowed. 
 
Setup:
Good4Life Markets does not provide canopies, tables or chairs. ​Canopy weights of at least 25 pounds PER LEG will be required for all canopies. Setup begins anytime after 3pm on market days. 
 
Lighting:
It is highly recommended that vendors supply lighting within their booth space for safety and higher sales!
Electricity provided on a very limited basis.  Please comment below if electricity is needed to sell your product.
Quiet generators are allowed. ​
 
Water: 
There is no water source at this park, aside from the restrooms. Please be prepared with your own water for any other needs.
 
IMPORTANT: All vendors (with the exception of farmers that sell only freshly grown produce/plants grown by them) are required to collect sales tax from their customers and remit the sales tax to the Utah State Tax Commission. You will receive a temporary sales tax license number, special event sales tax return form, tax amount chart, and a pre-paid envelope on your first day at the Taylorsville Farmers Market information booth.  Vendors are responsible for collecting sales tax and sending it to the Utah State Tax Commission by the due date. For questions, please call the Utah State Tax Commission, Special Events Unit at (801) 297-6303. 
 
After Submitting Appliction:
Once submitted, your application will be reviewed in the order it was received. If you don't see an email from Good4LifeMarkets@gmail.com by April 6th, 2024, check your spam folder and then call/text Denise (801) 413-8973, the Market Director. When accepted, you will also receive more detailed information for the market, ie; booth setup, payments, setup/teardown instruction, and market policies upon acceptance to the Taylorsville Farmers Market.

  • Booth fees will not be refunded if the Vendor is asked to leave the Market by Good4Life Markets or a government agency due to non-compliance with market or government regulations.
  • Taylorsville Farmers Market will operate in RAIN or SHINE. NO REFUNDS OR CREDITED BOOTH FEES for cancellations or no-shows.
  • DANGEROUS WEATHER: If the Market must be cancelled due to dangerous weather (high winds, thunderstorms, hail), you will be notified by 3pm day of the market via email or text. Taylorsville Farmers Market is no liable for inclement weather cancellations. If the Market is cancelled, vendor booth fees will be credited but they will not be refunded.
