Cottage Food Seller - 10' X 10'

Thank you for your interest in becoming a cottage food vendor at the Rome Pride Market, hosted at Ridge Ferry Park on June 29th.

 

This application is intended for non-food truck vendors wishing to secure a 10x10 space for their operations, suitable for those offering items such as baked goods.

Applicants are applying for a fixed 10x10 foot space designed for cottage food sales. Please note, the allocated space will be stationary and vendors will not have the option to move around during the festival.
 
Product Guidelines:
For drinks only products from the Coca-Cola brand, including water, are allowed for sale within the venue. The sale of Pepsi products is prohibited. Homemade teas and lemonades, however, are welcomed and encouraged.
 
Regulatory Compliance:
All participating vendors must be fully licensed and insured, with all necessary permits for cottage food sales. It is mandatory to inform Floyd County Environmental Health of your participation. Required documents must accompany your application for consideration.
 
Insurance Requirement:
A Certificate of Insurance (COI) listing Rome Georgia Pride as the certificate holder is essential. This must be provided within 24 hours of acceptance into the festival.
 
Legal Agreements:
Participation in the event is conditional upon signing a hold harmless waiver, ensuring understanding and agreement to the event's terms and conditions.
 
Values and Conduct:
Vendors are expected to support and promote the values of Rome Georgia Pride, strictly avoiding the sale or display of items inappropriate for individuals under 18 years of age.
 
Event Participation:
The market will open Saturday after the march and run into the evening. Vendors are expected to ensure adequate stock is available from the start of the day through the end of the day. Please be advised that early pack-up is not permitted, and we anticipate welcoming over 3,000 attendees.
 
Safety Measures:

ON site security throughout the day provided by Rome City Policy.
 
Fees as Donations:
Application and booth fees will be considered donations towards the non-profit aims of Rome Pride, helping to keep the event free for the community. Tax-deductible receipts are available upon request. Refunds will not be issued for non-participation or setup failures.
 
Setup Provision:
Vendors must provide their own tent, tables, and chairs for their designated 10x10 space.

 

The festival layout will assign each vendor a specific location to maintain throughout the event.

 

Our vendor market will follow new code mandates from the city. 

Vendors must supply their own 10x10 tent, tables, and any chairs and prepare to decorate their booths for all things Pride!

All vendors, non-profits, and sponsors must read the following city codes and ensure their booth and merchandise are appropriate. 
All vendors must adhere to codes 11-830 and 23-301 for Rome Pride 2023. 

 

It is not the responsibility of the Rome Pride Board, the Rome Pride Vendor Committee, the Rome Queer Alliance, or anyone representing Rome Pride such as volunteers, performers, other vendors, or security to make sure vendor products are in compliance with these codes and ordinances. It is the responsibility of the vendor, food truck, concession seller, or non-profit to make sure that their products or materials are within the code.
