ABOUT The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art is proud to present Chalktoberfest, a combination of chalk art festival (free to the public) and Marietta’s premier craft beer festival (tickets required). The festival  includes: DATES/TIMES Saturday, October 9th from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 10th from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. LOCATION Chalktoberfest will be located on the historic Marietta Square surrounding Glover Park and will continue down toward the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art building - most streets around the Marietta Square will be closed for the duration. Marietta Square is 15 miles northwest of Atlanta, just of the I-75, Exit 265. BENEFIT The MCMA Chalktoberfest benefits the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art. Enjoy your afternoon sampling craft beers, live music, art and craft vendors, watching professional Chalk Artists chalk the streets and eating great food at the beautiful downtown square of Marietta. A great day out for all the family, the Chalk Art Festival is free to attend. All proceeds go to the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art. ACCEPTED VENDORS This year, only art & craft local artisan vendors will be accepted. Businesses can become a Chalktoberfest sponsor which could include a chalk block and vendor booth options. Please call for pricing. FEES The 2021 vendor booth price is $325 for one (1) space and $575 for two (2) spaces. BOOTH One (1) 10’ x 10’ space will be blocked off for your businesses. Please bring your own tent, chairs and tables and/or display pieces to complete your booth. You may not go outside your 10’ x 10’ space without permission of the event coordinator. Electrical power is available in predetermined areas only and must be requested on the application for consideration on a first come first serve basis. No generators or drop cords across the walkways will be permitted. PARKING Parking will be available in the City of Marietta parking deck located one block off the Marietta Square. No cars will be permitted in the event area with the exception of set-up and tear down times. SECURITY Security will be provided by MCMA and the City of Marietta throughout the event and after hours. However, please be aware that MCMA Chalktoberfest 2021, the City of Marietta, the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art and its staff are not to be held liable for any lost, stolen or damaged items. Additionally, we recommend that you do not leave your items overnight if they are small and easy to steal. TAXES Each vendor is solely responsible for collecting, reporting and submitting sales tax payment to the Georgia Department of Revenue, Sales and Use Tax Division. Cobb County tax is 6%. I release and forever discharge the 2021 MCMA Chalktoberfest, the City of Marietta, Marietta Cobb Museum of Art, its staff, and volunteers, from any responsibility, personal liability, loss, claims or damages arising out of, or in conjunction with the 2021 MCMA Chalktoberfest event.
