Music, Uptown merchants, entertainment, art, food, vendors, DORA & fun Join us as Westerville closes down State Street and invites the community to historic Uptown Westerville for the Fourth Friday festivals. Gather to enjoy a summer concert series at City Hall, catch the roving entertainment, and visit the food trucks, pop-up vendors, and your favorite Uptown Westerville restaurants and retail shopping. Adults can take advantage of Uptown’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area, and stroll about with adult beverages sold by several Uptown establishments. FREE TO THE PUBLIC

Terms & Conditions

The intent of the following rules and regulations is to lead to a festival that offers a safe and enjoyable experience for both vendors and festival attendees. If you have questions regarding the rules, or about becoming a vendor, please email to: FourthFriday@UptownWestervilleInc.com
 
  •  Spaces will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis and at the discretion of the Festival Director.
  •  Applications will only be considered if the application fee is paid in full. Applying does not guarantee entry into the festival.
  • Fourth Friday Festivals will be held rain or shine.
  •  Topics of controversial or political nature are not permitted at Fourth Friday Festivals.
  •  There will be no smoking, vaping or loud music in the festival area. Vendors may not bring pets.
  •  Applications will be accepted until all spaces are full or until the Monday prior to each festival. Notice of acceptance to Fourth Friday Festivals will begin in March of the festival year. Fees must be paid in full within 30 days of acceptance. Accepted Vendors that have unpaid fees will be moved to the Waitlist till payment issue has been resolved.
  •  No refunds will be given unless the event is cancelled by Uptown Westerville Inc.
  •  Vendors will be notified of their booth location on the Wednesday prior to each festival. Vendor location requests will not be accepted.
  •  Set up for each festival may begin at 4:45pm. Vendors should drop off supplies, park their vehicle, and them return to set up their booth. Vendors must not set up in the streets till the Westerville PD have officially closed the street at 5:30pm
  •  State Street closes to traffic at 5:30pm. Vendors who arrive after State Street closes will not be able to participate in the festival and there will be no refunds.
  •  The Fourth Friday Festivals begin at 6:00pm and end at 9:00pm. Vendors should stop selling at a time that allows them to remove their items from the roadway and allow the free flow of traffic by 9:15pm. There are no exceptions to set up and tear down time constraints.
  •  Samples are encouraged and permitted. Vendors will be responsible for keeping products at appropriate temperatures. Available electrical outlets may be utilized upon request.
  •  It is the food vendor’s responsibility to obtain all licensing and permits, and to pay the associated fees for those licenses and permits. Vendors should bring copies of licenses and permits with them to each festival. Repeat licensing or permit violations may be cause for removal from the festival without reimbursement.
  •  All vendors must supply their own equipment and supplies, including tables and tents. For safety reasons, you must bring weights to hold down tents in the event of wind gusts.
  •  All vendors selling edible baked goods are required to follow the cottage food selling regulations from the Franklin County public health department. Labeling information may be found at http://www.myfcph.org/food.php
  •  Vendor spaces are to be operated in a safe and sanitary manner. Keep sales areas clean of debris at all times. Following the close of each Fourth Friday Festival, all equipment and refuse must be removed by 9:15pm.
  •  Vendor’s business entity name on certificate of liability must match vendor’s business entity name on the festival application. COI must be completed and uploaded into Manage My Market at least two (2) weeks prior to the first festival date that you are participating in. If not received, your order will be cancelled without a refund. A COI is mandatory for all Food Trucks/Trailers & Food Vendors (applies to all vendors selling or giving away an edible item of ANY type, pre- packaged OR prepared on site)
  •  Vendors must submit a list of all products they wish to sell with their application. Subsequent changes to product list must be approved by Festival Director prior to sale at the festival.
  •  Vendors unable to be at a festival must give the manager 48-hour notice in writing, either via text or email. There will be no refunds of fees unless the festival is cancelled by the Festival Director for safety reasons such as severe weather.
  •  The Festival Director is responsible for all space assignments, as well as enforcement of the festival rules. If there is a concern regarding rules please submit the concern to the Festival Director in writing and it will be reviewed by the Festival Director, and the Executive Director of Uptown Westerville Inc.
  •  Per the request of the City Service Division, Food Trucks are required to bring their own trash receptacle. Please tie and secure all full bags and leave them in a visible location prior to exiting your space at the end of the night for easy pick-up.
