MumFest is a delightful fall weekend for people of all ages, featuring live music, entertainment, amusements, arts and crafts, great food, and a spectacular beer garden--all in historic downtown New Bern along its waterfront. More than 70,000 festival-goers enjoyed Mumfest in 2023. Come join the fun!

About the registration

Welcome to the MumFest Vendor Application Process!If your booth sells food and/or beverages you MUST complete and submit the Food Vendor Application in full, pay the application fee, and submit.

Terms & Conditions

MumFest reserves the right to approve or deny the application. You will be notified within two weeks whether or not you have been accepted. IF ACCEPTED, YOUR CARD ON FILE WILL BE CHARGED FOR ALL RELEVANT FEES THAT YOU HAVE SELECTED IN YOUR APPLICATION. This is an electronic agreement and by completing the application, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically. Please note that the cut-off for refunds is July 1, 2024.  
 
FIRE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS FOR FOOD VENDORS:  
All food vendors must have the following fire extinguishers:
One or more 2A10BC dry chemical extinguishers or larger.
If operating any type of fryer, a Class K fire extinguisher is required.  
All extinguishers shall be properly serviced within the last 12 months and have a current inspection tag.

Application fee $40 Non-refundable There is a non-refundable application fee that is charged upon application submission.
Small Handcart / Small Trailer Under 10 Feet $475 Non-refundable
20x10 Basic Booth $950 Non-refundable Single booth space is 10 deep and 20 wide.
25x10 Booth $1,150 Non-refundable Single booth space is 10 deep and 25 wide.
30x10 Booth $1,300 Non-refundable Single booth space is 10 deep and 30 wide.
35 x 10 Booth $1,500 Non-refundable Single booth space is 10 deep by 35 wide.
40 x 10 Booth $1,650 Non-refundable Single booth space is 10 deep by 40 wide.
110 volt service outlet(s) $75 Non-refundable
ADDITIONAL - 110 volt service outlet(s) $50 Non-refundable
1- 220 volt circuit, 30 amp service $175 Non-refundable
2 - 220 volt circuits, 30 amp service $225 Non-refundable
1- 220 volt circuit, 50 amp service $200 Non-refundable
2 - 220 volt circuits, 50 amp service $250 Non-refundable
Cancellation Insurance Fee (Total Fee Range Under $1000) $100.00 $100 Non-refundable In the event that MumFest is canceled due to weather, hurricane, or other acts of God, this add-on benefit provides reimbursement for the cost of your booth only (based upon size). It does not cover any extras purchased or loss of sales. Rainfall is not a factor for cancellation as MumFest is a rain or shine event.
Cancellation Insurance Fee (Total Fee Range $1000-$2000) $200.00 $200 Non-refundable In the event that MumFest is canceled due to weather, hurricane, or other acts of God, this add-on benefit provides reimbursement for the cost of your booth only (based upon size). It does not cover any extras purchased or loss of sales. Rainfall is not a factor for cancellation as MumFest is a rain or shine event.
When serving desserts in addition to savory foods, there is an additional fee $475 Non-refundable

Picture requirements

  • Minimum pictures required: 3
  • Each application must include at least 3 to 5 color photos of your products, at least one photo of your booth set-up, and at least one photo of you making your items or of your work space.
