2024 GULLAH MARKET AND BLOCK PARTY VENDOR/EXHIBITOR GUIDELINES   The Hilton Head Island Gullah Celebration: Festival (Arts, Crafts, Food and Entertainment Expo) site is outdoors. that will be held at the Coastal Discovery Museum; 70 Honey Horn Drive, Hilton Head Island SC 29926.   ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE A TOWN OF HILTON HEAD ISLAND BUSINESS LICENSE IF PHYSICALLY LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWN - PROVIDE TOHHI LICENSE NUMBER ON THE APPLICATION   IF THE BUSINESS IS NOT LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWN THE EVENT LICENSE IS $5.00 (THIS MUST BE PAID AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION)       All booths must be set up and open for business no later than 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 17th. Vendors set-up 8 AM - 10:00am. Vendors shall not break down space prior to 4 PM on Saturday. When leaving your space it MUST be clean of all trash.

The Hilton Head Island Gullah Celebration showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Gullah people and their history on Hilton Head Island. Hilton Head Island Gullah Celebration programming includes a variety of events designed to attract residents, regional, national, and international travelers.

Terms & Conditions

All vendors must have their own freestanding tent with a maximum size of 10' x 10'. All equipment for setup and display is the vendor's responsibility. (Tents may be rented through the Hilton Head Island Gullah Celebration Team. Orders MUST be placed at the time of vendor application submittal.    Exhibitors are responsible for collecting 7% of South Carolina sales tax during the event.   Only properly registered vendors may occupy assigned booths.  Storage containers must remain out of sight. Stored materials shall not protrude into aisles.  The Hilton Head Island Gullah Celebration Management Team will address any music or other potentially distracting or irritating activities. Please be considerate of your neighbors.  Vendors/Artists are provided with (approximately) a 10 x 10 space. Booth assignments are at the discretion of the Holiday Arts & Crafts Festival Committee Chairperson and/or the Hilton Head Island Gullah Celebration Management Team prior to the date of the event and booth assignment.     Local parking is limited. Artists and vendors will be able to drop off materials at their booth, but may not park at their booth site. Vehicles will not be allowed to park on the grass area except to unload or load merchandise. Limited electricity is available on a first received basis.   NO PRODUCTS THAT CARRY THE HILTON HEAD GULLAH CELEBRATION IMAGE, LOGO; OR NAME MAY BE SOLD AT THE CELEBRATION. VIOLATORS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES. NO VENDOR WILL BE ALLOWED O SELL ANY "T-SHIRTS" WHICH MAY IMPLY THE HILTON HEAD ISLAND GULLAH CELEBRATION.  HILTON HEAD ISLAND GULLAH CELEBRATION COMMITTEE/NIBCAA WILL BE THE EXCLUSIVE VENDOR OF ALL BEVERAGES.   Vendor Cancellation Policy  Vendors unable to attend should inform the Hilton Head Island Gullah Celebration Management Team in writing or via email on or before Tuesday, February 1st for a full refund.
