About the event

Escape reality at the longest-running fundraising event for the Mountain of Hope Foundation. Walk back in time to days of old and experience knights, queens, kings, nobles, pirates, and oh so much more!! This historical re-creation event offers live demos from skilled artisans, music, dance, and fully armored knights fighting with real weapons, battling it out to the last man (or woman!) standing! There is something for everyone at this 3-day recreation event. Merchants offer a wide array of goods and services for your pleasure. Our unique food and drynk will tempt your taste buds. And if you or your wee ones are animal fans, the Greyhounds of the Royal Realm will keep them smiling! Our da Vinci Day will teach the young ones (and adults) how things were made and done in the days before computers. Our "treasure map" will have you hunting around the shire for artisans who will share a bit about their skill set and introduce them to organizations that keep old traditions alive and bring you face-to-face with our sovereign King! By submitting this application, you and your staff acknowledge that you have read and agree to all the rules and regulations of the event (see documents). Including, but not limited to: 
ALL TRAFFIC CONTROL & PARKING RULES
NO VENDOR VEHICLES ON THE FIELD DURING HOURS OR WHILE THE PUBLIC IS ON GROUNDS
NO VEHICLES PERMITTED ON THE FIELD ON SUNDAY UNTIL AFTER THE CLOSING TOAST & SECURITY HAS OPENED THE ACCESS GATE
THE SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH OR SLOWER AT ALL TIMES
ON-SITE CAMPING TENTS MUST FIT THE THEME OF THE EVENT
 
VENDORS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO PARK BEHIND THEIR SET-UP. BE PREPARED TO DROP YOUR TRAILER AND PARK YOUR TOW VEHICLE IN THE VENDOR PARKING AREA.

Prices

Application Fee $50 There is a $50 refundable application fee, which is charged upon submission.
Food Vendor Space $175 Non-refundable If you don't have a quiet generator, we strongly encourage you to get one. This will enable you to be accepted at many more events. For vendors that MUST use our power, additional charges covering the cost of renting the equipment to supply that power to you will apply. See Electricity Charges.
Vehicle Deposit $50 We've created this measure for all vendors because people don't read or abide by our rules and regulations regarding when vehicles are permitted on the site. We are sorry to have to apply it to those that do comply. You will receive a deposit refund within 14 days after the event.
Electrical Outlet $110 Non-refundable This fee is what it costs us to provide power for your booth. We recommend that you invest in a quiet generator/inverter. In the long run, you will be able to get into more events because you are more versatile than other food vendors and can fit into spaces and operate independently.
