Food Vendor - NOT A FOOD TRUCK

We are offering a Taste of Asia at this year's Johns Creek Lunar New Year Celebration! Please come ready to sell small plates of sampler items for a range of price between $4.00-$12.00 per plate.  Vendor Fee: $250 includes 10x10 tent, table, 2 chairs Set-up: Saturday, February 10, 2024, 8am (set-up MUST be complete by 11am)Tear down: Saturday, February 10, 2024, 4pm Vendor Parking: Parking is available at Heisman Field All vendors must be setup and ready by 11am. At the completion of the event, vendors are required to clean up their area. 
Vendors will be able to pull to their location and unload, then move car to vendor parking across the street
Vendors will be provided with a 10x10 tent, table and 2 chairs
Electricity will be available for purchase to vendors. 

 

Celebrate Lunar New Year with Taste of Asia and cultural performances on Saturday, February 10 from 12-4 p.m. at Heisman Field across from Atlanta Athletic Club on Medlock Bridge Rd. The City of Johns Creek’s Lunar New Year celebration is a family-friendly event that embraces cultural diversity in our community. Commonly known as the Spring Festival in East Asia, Lunar New Year commemorates the beginning of a new year on the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar. *No pets are allowed at this event.

Vendor Fee: $250
Your fee INCLUDES a 10x10 tent,  table, 2 chairs Electricity is not provided. If you need electricity, you must provide your own generator. There is no wifi on the property. Please be prepared with a hotspot or data connection.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
If selected, all vendors’ fees must be paid in full by January 18, 2024
Due to the high number of applications, not all applicants will be selected. 
No partial payments will be accepted. 
Any application received after January 18, 2024 will not be considered. 
Fees are non-refundable.
The City of Johns Creek requires all vendors to provide a certificate of insurance (COI), minimum $1 General Liability coverage.
 
The City of Johns Creek must be the certificate holder and identified as an "additional insured" on the COI.

A minimum of $100,000 General Liability coverage is sufficient for smaller retail vendors, i.e. art,clothing, jewelry, trinkets, etc. A small business can be defined as one that has annual sales volume of $10,000 or less.

A signed waiver must be submitted with the COI.  Fire Marshall InspectionIf you will have open flame cooking, an ABC type fire extinguisher will be required. If you will be frying, a K type fire extinguisher will be required. If you are planning to bring your own tent, you must have a flame-certified tent. Propane cylinders must be secured to prevent being knocked over. Grills must be placed a minimum of ten feet from your tent or adjacent tent. Sufficient room will be provided behind your tent for grilling if you have indicated you will bring a grill.
