About the event

Foley is the spot for high-flying adventure and family fun at the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival. Enjoy entertainment, arts and crafts displays, face painting, food, and more at the festival site daily. Balloon glows and tethered rides (weather permitting) add to the fun at dawn and dusk. Balloons are only visible at dusk & dawn, weather permitting. Please be sure to visit our website, for the most current information. About the application

Welcome to the 20th Annual Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival! This event will take place May 2-4, 2024 in Foley, Alabama at OWA Parks & Resort.
 
Browse through our applications and let us know if you have any questions by emailing reagan@southbaldwinchamber.com. This is an electronic agreement and by applying for this space, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
 
Please fill out the form completely, including credit card information. Once you have submitted your completed application, you will be notified by email that it has been received. Your application is then reviewed by the committee and final determination of your acceptance will be sent via email. You will not be charged for the booth space unless your application has been approved. 
 
Festival hours are 4 - 10 PM on Thursday and 11 AM - 10 PM on Friday and Saturday.
Food vendor spots are 20 feet long and snack vendor spots are 12 feet long.

PLEASE NOTE: Past participation in the festival does NOT guarantee an approved application. No booth locations are guaranteed.

By submitting application, I understand and agree with the rules and regulations that are set forth in this application and agree to abide by and fully comply with said rules. I understand and agree that the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Committee, and OWA are not responsible in any way for damage, loss or theft of me, my firm or of my customers and employees and agree to indemnify and defend and hold harmless the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Committee, and OWA against such loss, damage or theft.

Prices

Application Fee $25 Non-refundable There is a $25 non-refundable application fee which is charged upon application.
Food Vendor $1,000 Non-refundable FOOD VENDOR refers to food trucks or large tents selling fair/festival-like food. Please fill out the form completely, including credit card information. Once you have submitted your completed application, you will be notified by email that it has been received. Your application is then reviewed by the committee and final determination of your acceptance will be sent via email. We will not allow food vendors that compete with Brick and Mortar stores at OWA. That includes, but is not limited to Mexican, Cinnamon Rolls, Pretzels, and Pizza. Food Vendors are only allowed to sell Coca-Cola refreshments and they must be purchased through Coca-Cola United with our representative. We will provided 30 amp and 50 amp power and infrastructure to have potable water.
Snack Vendor $500 Non-refundable SNACK VENDOR refers to a smaller space that is selling smaller & more specific items (ie. peanuts, cotton candy, chocolate, etc.) Please fill out the form completely, including credit card information. Once you have submitted your completed application, you will be notified by email that it has been received. Your application is then reviewed by the committee and final determination of your acceptance will be sent via email. We will not allow food vendors that compete with Brick and Mortar stores at OWA.   • I understand I am required to operate during the following hours: 5 - 9 PM on Thursday and 11 AM - 9 PM on Friday and Saturday.
  • I understand that my location is to be assigned by the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Committee.
  • I understand that a "no show/cancel" will result in being declined in all future South Baldwin Chamber and Foundation events.
  • I understand that I am responsible for collecting and reporting Alabama & Baldwin County Sales Tax. SBCC will provide information and paperwork at check-in.
  • I understand no refunds will be given to accepted vendors after March 31 or for weather, acts of god, civil disobedience, or any circumstance the SBCC deems out of its sole care, custody, or control.
  • I have a business license to sell in Baldwin County, Alabama.
  • I have a business license to sell in the City of Foley.
