Failure to do so may result in a forfeited submission. Leslie Grove Gallery Shows are not presented online on the Eventeny Platform, we just use the system for submissions and jurying. PLEASE DO NOT COMPLETE/UPDATE YOUR EVENTENY STORE PROFILE FOR THIS SHOW.  The online portion of the show will be created and managed by the Artists' Network on the LeslieGroveGalleryStore.ca January will see the Leslie Grove Gallery hosting its second annual juried COLOUR show, this year we bring you the colour BLUE. The use of blue in art has a long rich history; from the frescoes and statues of the ancient Egyptians and the spiritual art of the Renaissance to the sense of wonder and tranquility evoked in Impressionist art. Blue is no less important today as contemporary artists grapple with portraying subtle nuances of emotion. Blue is associated with everything from sorrow and nostalgia to optimism and joy.
Artists’ Network invites all artists (members and non-members) to celebrate the colour blue with us, in all of its possible manifestations. Please submit your best 2D or 3D work that reflects what BLUE means to you.

Prices

Application fees C$50.00 (+ tax and fees) Non-refundable There is a $50 + HST, $56.50 total non-refundable application fee which is charged upon application. MEMBER DISCOUNT*: Artists' Network Members can save $15 by using discount code: MEMBER15 This will reduce your application fee by $15 and you will pay $35.00 + HST = $39.55 *Discount code must be used at time of submission As this is a juried show, not all submissions will be accepted.
