About the application

This application is for mobile vendors or non-profit vendors wishing to participate in this year's Christmas Downtown Festival.   Mobile vendors are those who will "roam" around OUTSIDE the Courthouse Square walls selling small items during limited hours.  The hours and items being sold MUST be discussed and approved by a Christmas Committee member.    Non-profit vendors get this special discounted rate because we are here to help YOU.  Items being sold must be pre-approved and discussed with a Christmas Committee member prior to approval. 

About the event

Join us on December 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2023, for the First Annual Christmas on the Square festival in Mountain View, AR. Santa himself will be there both days, spreading holiday cheer to children of all ages. So, bring your wish lists and capture a special moment with Santa. We will also have Santa's Workshop where children can create their own Christmas decorations and other crafts. Enjoy food vendors, shop in our Tinsel Town craft vendor area, join in singing Christmas carols, playing games and so much more! Saturday, December 2nd, we will have a parade down Main St. followed by our big "Light Up the Square" ceremony. We can't wait to see the Square lit up like never before. Stay tuned for more exciting details about this amazing celebration as we continue to unveil the details of our First Annual Christmas on the Square! Mark your calendars and spread the word about this fun weekend for the whole family.

Terms & Conditions

Mobile Vendors
  • Mobile vendors will be restricted to certain hours and items to be sold as per discussion with Christmas Committee member(s)
  • Hours will not exceed 4 hours per day for the days of the planned event. 
  • This vendor status is being reserved primarily for children and mentally/physically challenged individuals.
  • The goal of the mobile vendor status will be to help the vendors learn about running a small business and provide them with experience handling money and working with customers.
  • While dressing "Christmasy" is not required, it certainly is recommended.
  • Vendors will be required to hang a vendor number from their mobile cart or wagon as well as have signage indicating what they are selling and the price(s).
Non-Profit Vendors
  • Will be expected to have the booth set up and open during the regular "Tinsel Town" vendor hours of 10am-8pm Saturday, Dec 2nd and 11am-3pm on Sunday, Dec 3rd with optional hours of 6-8pm Friday, Dec 1st
  • Please plan to decorate your booth "Christmasy".  Think "Hallmark Christmas". 
  • Power will be provided but it is limited so please use only LED lights.
