Prices for goods sold at the event must be clearly displayed and accurately reflect the value of the item.

The merchant must pay any taxes and fees required by local or state regulations.
A $100 security deposit/clean-up fee will be required at check-in.

Display and Sale of Merchandise:
All merchandise displayed and sold must be appropriate for the Renaissance Faire theme.
The merchant must maintain a tidy and visually appealing display.
The merchant must take steps to decorate their tents in such a way as to fit into the theme of the show; i.e. pop-up tents should have metal poles and legs draped in fabric or garlands to hide the modern elements.  Period tents are preferred and it is expected that should you return to vend at our faire over several seasons that you will make an effort to upgrade from a pop up tent to a period tent.
The merchant must provide accurate and honest descriptions of all merchandise sold.
Any replicas or reproductions of historical artifacts must be clearly marked as such.
Conduct and Behavior:
The merchant must conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner towards all attendees, staff, and other merchants.
The merchant must adhere to all local and state regulations, as well as any rules and regulations set forth by the Renaissance Faire organizers.
The merchant must not engage in any activity or behavior that is illegal, unethical, or that may harm the reputation of the Renaissance Faire.

Liability and Insurance:
The merchant is responsible for any damage or injury caused by their merchandise or booth setup.
The merchant must carry their own liability insurance and provide proof of insurance to the Renaissance Faire organizers before setting up their booth.
The Renaissance Faire organizers are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise.

Picture requirements

  • Minimum pictures required: 1
  • Here's how it works: 1. Upload pics of your merchandise. You may upload examples of particular classes of items that you sell; you do not need to upload a photo for every individual item, just one photo that gives us a general idea of the products you wish to sell. Example: if you sell jewelry and you carry bracelets, necklaces, and earrings, please upload a representative sample of your bracelets, another of the necklaces, and another of the earrings. We don't need a photo of every bracelet that you carry. 2. Upload pics of your tent/setup. It's possible you're new and you may not have pics of this and that's ok. Just let us know! 3. Upload pics of you and your staff in costume/garb. Period costuming is important for the immersive element we all work so hard to create for the faire. Please remember: no sunglasses that aren't period and try to hide modern things like watches etc. This goes for ALL workers of your booth. If you have any questions about this, please contact us for help!
