Please take a moment to read all the important preliminary information below.
*REQUIRED*Driver’s License Needed for Those Driving Any VehiclesIf you have not submitted a copy of the driver’s license of the individual driving the vehicle in the parade, please email a copy to parade@bbfl.us no later than Friday, November 18th at 12:00 pm.
Groups with MinorsPlease provide the group’s on-site contact name and phone number to all group attendees, and to parade staff (email parade@bbfl.us) by Friday, November 18th at 12:00pm. All members of the group will be instructed to meet the on-site contact for the line-up, and the on-site contact will be the only person able to check-in with City Staff. Please do not direct carpooling parents to drop off minors without the on-site contact present.
Directions to Check-In/Drop-Off Location- When arriving to the parade please take Woolbright Road East towards Seacrest Blvd.
- Turn right onto Seacrest Blvd. from Woolbright Road.
- Turn right onto SE 12th Ave. and take it to the check in point at the corner of SE 12th Ave and SE 4th Street. (Please ensure you do not stop on the train tracks on SE 12th Ave as they are operational).
- Once checked in, you will receive your unit number and will be instructed on where to drop off based on your location within the line up (map attached).
Parade Participant Parking- Parade Participants will be able to park at Pence Park.
- *Note* If you would like a closer parking location to the performance area, public parking lots are available at the intersection of Boynton Beach Boulevard and Federal Highway (222 N Federal Highway), City Hall Employee parking lot (100 E. Boynton Beach Boulevard), and Journey Church (715 S Federal Hwy). Public parking is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Band Buses and Large Vans – Please forward this information to all bus drivers.
- When arriving to the parade please take Woolbright Road East towards Seacrest Blvd.
- Turn right onto Seacrest Blvd. from Woolbright Road.
- Turn right onto SE 12th Ave. and take it to the check in point at the corner of SE 12th Ave and SE 4th Street. (Please ensure you do not stop on the train tracks on SE 12th Ave as they are operational).
- Once checked in, you will receive your unit number and will be instructed on where to drop off based on your location within the line up (map attached).
- The buses/vans will then be directed to turn left on SE 6th Avenue and proceed towards Seacrest Blvd.
- Buses/vans will turn right onto Seacrest Boulevard, left on Boynton Beach Blvd, right on Federal Hwy and directed to a staging spot by Boynton Beach Police Officers.
- Parade participants will meet their bus or van at the end of the parade route on NE 4th Street.
Just a reminder… Parade Rules and Guidelines: All mobile entries, including cars and trucks towing floats, must be completely decorated.
This is a family event. Inappropriate performances and attire are prohibited.
Entries MAY be permitted to perform while walking the parade route IF the noise does not interfere with surrounding entries (to be determined by the Unit Chair).
Entries may perform for no more than ONE MINUTE at the Judging area.
(To maintain the flow of the parade, those entries exceeding the permitted performance time, may be asked to stop performing and move forward.)To maintain a family-friendly and safe event, entries are prohibited from throwing and/or distributing candy, flyers, consuming alcohol or have pets.
