About the event

We welcome you back to our 3rd year of the GRASS IS GREENER: AN ALL VEGAN & ARTS FESTIVAL! Hosted for the second time at The Brewers Collective in Bay Shore, NY. As featured on NEWSDAY's EXPLORE LI in 2022! This event will feature our traditional market filled with artists, makers and unique small businesses. Plus a curated lineup of Vegan Food Trucks and Food Vendors by our friends over @longislandveganpopup. We will feature an outside music stage and inside interactive installations, such as large games, video game stations which more to be announced soon. Come enjoy a vegan experience filled with arts & music.

EVENT TIME:  12-5PM
LOCATION: The Brewers Collective (1460 N Clinton Avenue Bay Shore NY 11706)
 
RAIN DATE: Event is outdoors. Please be mindful of the rain dates listed for each event date. Postponement of original scheduled date will only occur if there is inclement weather during the time of the event.
 
BOOTH AVAILABILITY: This application is for ARTISTS, ARTISANS AND CRAFT MAKERS
 
THIS EVENT WILL ONLY HAVE 20 BOOTH SPACES AVAILABLE PER DAY
 
TENT SPACES: This event will feature tent spaces which will be located across the festival space in front of the brewery. The space allowed will be for a 10ft x 10ft tent to be set-up. You are able to use this space in whichever way you'd like as long as it doesn't exceed 10ft x 10ft. If you are sharing your tent space there is a $20 additional shared space fee. 
 
TENTS ARE MANDATORY AND MUST BE SUPPLIED BY THE VENDOR.
 
Jewelry, Candles, Non-Commercial Clothing and Wellness Product vendors should apply under this category. 
 
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ASK THAT YOU CHOOSE A TIER OF WHAT YOUR SET-UP WILL MOSTLY INCLUDE. WE WILL BE REVIEWING YOUR WEBSITE/PAGE PRIOR TO ACCEPTING YOUR APPLICATION. ALL TABLES AND TENTS WILL BE AUDITED BEFORE THE EVENT - IF YOU ARE SELLING OUTSIDE OF THE CATEGORY PICKED, EXTRA FEE WILL BE CHARGED AT THAT TIME. OTHER APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE ON OUR WEBSITE. 
 
Why is there different pricing tiers?
Our original mission at Colored Colors was providing opportunities for local artists of mixed media discipline. We want to provide opportunities for ALL but we lean towards a more affordable space for our artists. We still encourage small businesses to join our events as we have still priced our fees relatively lower than other event organizers throughout the state of NY. 
 
What else do I receive with my vendor fee? 
 Our pricing includes personal recap photos, flyers for promotional purposes, personalized commemorative lanyards, cross-promotion on our socials pre and post event, and customer service access leading into the event.
 
Vendor fee will be completed after we confirm your application. Until the vendor fee is completed your space will not be guaranteed or held. Your submission is not a confirmation for participation. If your card declines we will try again within 24 hours, if this occurs twice your application will be rejected and needed to submitted once more.
 

Terms & Conditions

Colored Colors is not liable or responsible for any accidents or incidents that occur while vendors or patrons are within limits of the event. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged goods. 
 
In addition each vendor holds responsibility and liability for their own products.
 
Colored Colors is not responsible for any sales that the vendor must make. We do not take any commission of your sales after the vendor fee is paid.  We take responsibility in marketing this event through all our socials, community partners and within event outlets throughout our community. 
 
In the event of a proven accident, riot, strike, epidemic, and forces of nature or any other legitimate condition or occurrence beyond the respective control, the event will be postponed. In the event an event is FULLY cancelled by Colored Colors, the contract is null and void (no longer valid) and vendors will receive a full refund. 
 
REFUND POLICY: EVENT IS HOLDING A RAIN DATE FOR ALL DATES WHICH WILL ONLY BE ACTIVATED WITH INCLEMENT WEATHER. NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED UNLESS FULL CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT. THIS DECISION WILL BE MADE BY COLORED COLORS & PARTNERING ORGANIZATIONS. 
 
To protect our business the following Refund Policies are put into place starting January 1st 2023. 
There are NO REFUNDS FOR ANY TYPE OF CANCELLATIONS. In the event of a last minute cancellation, you will have the option to receive 50% of your paid vendor fee to be used as a credit for another event.

BOOTH SPACE (10FT x 10FT) $100 Non-refundable Space allotted is 10FT x 10FT. Vendor must provide their own tent and tents are mandatory. If sharing with another vendor please add "SHARING FEE" at checkout. This tier is for Jewelry, Candles, Non-Commercial Clothing and Wellness Product vendors.
BOOTH SPACE (10FT x 10FT - 2 DAYS) $200 Non-refundable Space allotted is 10FT x 10FT. Vendor must provide their own tent and tents are mandatory. If sharing with another vendor please add "SHARING FEE" at checkout. This tier is for Jewelry, Candles, Non-Commercial Clothing and Wellness Product vendors.
SHARED SPACE FEE $25 Non-refundable If you are sharing your tent space with another vendor - please add this during checkout.
