About the application

Welcome to our sign-up application for Tekko 2024! Please note that filling out this form does NOT guarantee your  acceptance into our Artist Alley, regardless if you've previously vended with us. If you are a member of Tekko staff in any department, your application will be rejected.

Please ensure everything is spelled correctly before submitting! If you believe you misspelled something important, reach out to the Artist Alley Supervisor and she will check after the application closes for the year.If you submit more than one application, regardless of reason why, you will be immediately rejected for the year and will be illegible for table-sharing for 2024. Proxy selling is expressly forbidden, those in violation will be blacklisted for all future events.

All artists that successfully fill out this application will receive notice of their acceptance or waitlisting to the provided email address in the coming weeks/by the new year at the latest.  All information about our Artist Alley is available at https://tekko.us/artist-alley

About the event

Sunday Tickets available for $35! Tekko is Pennsylvania's largest anime convention, attracting nearly 12,000 unique and diverse fans from across the country (and world!) to the region. We aren't just any old anime convention, though. We offer so much more by featuring Japanese arcade games, J-rock, J-fashion, Japanese pop culture, and education in our programming. Additionally, we choose a unique theme every year to explore new content, such as wrestling, mecha, sports, and more. This makes us one of the most diverse anime and Japanese culture conventions in the country, and we aren't done expanding yet! Tekko is presented by a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Pittsburgh Japanese Culture Society (PittJCS) . We've been bringing fans together for more than 20 years at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Terms & Conditions

All Artists that submit applications for Tekko's Artist Alley agree to follow all policies set forth for the Tekko convention and its Artist Alley. This includes but is not limited to following our Covid-19 policies, general rules of conduct, and any rule specific to Artist Alley and the Exhibition Hall. Failure to follow any given rule is grounds for ejection from the event without refund. Upon submission, you are confirming that everything on this form is correct with regards to the portfolio submitted and information about yourself/studio/business. All questions and concerns may be forwarded to artists@teamtekko.us

Prices

Artist Alley Table $225.00 Non-refundable 1 Tekko Artist Alley table will be a standard 6ft table and come with 2 folding chairs. If you choose 2 Artist Alley tables, you will receive 4 chairs. 1 General Admission badge is included in this price, meaning you do NOT need to purchase a separate badge for yourself. This badge is solely for the artist that is purchasing the tablespace. Assistant badges will be purchased separately at another time. Electricity and internet services are not included and must be requested after your application has been approved. These costs are determined by the convention center and may vary at any time. You may request those services here once approved https://www.pittsburghcc.com/exhibitors/ Prices are pre-taxes/fees.
Loading Dock Usage $25.00 If you will need to use the loading dock for Tekko 2024, please select this option. You may request usage at a later time if you are unsure at the time of this application submission. You will not be able to request usage up to 3 weeks leading to the start of the convention.
