About the application

Welcome to CannaBrew 2023! The event will take place October 13th &14th at Smokey River, River Bend, Missouri. Food vendors must operate all hours of the festival. Accepted vendors will be required to pay a $500 vendor fee and 10% of gross sales to CannaBrew. All Food Trucks must supply their own power via a generator. Please note this is an application only. Accepted vendors will be notified via email on September 1st. Once accepted to CannaBrew your credit card will be charged. Vendors are selected based on variety of menu, overall look of set up, and festival professionalism.  This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

About the event

Welcome to CannaBrew 2023. A two day festival celebrating the end of Cannabis prohibition in Missouri through a vairety of artforms including; live music, art, glassblowing, performance art and consumption. At this festival you have the freedom to be yourself, amongst like minded peers. CannBrew 2023 is the 4th annual event and we are excited to call The Smokey River District our new home. Nestled along the banks of the mighty Missouri river just 20 minutes east of downtown Kansas City, we invite you to come out and experience what the future CannaBrew holds.

Terms & Conditions

CannaBrew 2023 Food Vendor Guidelines: The following items apply to all vendors unless specified otherwise in writing. By agreeing to the terms & conditions of this document you acknowledge that you will pay 10% of your gross sales to CannaBrew at the conclusion of the event. The 10% payment must be received by October 30th, 2023. Failure to do so will forfeit your invitation to all future events. 
  • All Food Trucks must supply their own power via a generator.
  • Vendors are NOT ALLOWED to sell any beverages.
  • Vendors will supply to Smokey River 420 Fest a list of all items intended for sale or display at the festival. CannaBrew has the right to disallow any item or items from being available at the festival. It is necessary to list all food items you intend to sell in your application.
  • If you are bringing a refrigerated truck you MUST let CannaBrew know and there will be an additional $500 charge to bring a truck. NO EXCEPTIONS. All refrigerated trucks will not be parked inside of the grounds, but in a parking lot near the grounds with a vendor only entrance where you can dolly your products in and out.
  • All trucks MUST be off site by Saturday night at the conclusion of the festival. Property owners will tow any remaining vehicles or trucks.
  • CannaBrew will decide booth placement. You MUST adhere to load in and load out times
  • CannaBrew will take place rain or shine and all fees are nonrefundable.
  • Each vendor will be given six “Vendor Passes” per day for the purpose of permitting staff to gain entrance to the festival grounds.
  • Vendors will be expected to have their booths completely set-up at least 60 minutes prior to the start of the event day.
  • We will be in touch at the beginning of September regarding load in instructions. You must adhere to the CannaBrew load and load out times for ease of all food vendors.
  • Vendors are required to remain open till closing time of the festival.
  • Vendors are NOT ALLOWED to bring in alcoholic beverages. Vendors will not be allowed to consume any alcoholic beverages while working the festival. Vendors will comply with all local, city, and state health and liquor control rules and regulations.
  • Grease disposal is the responsibility of vendor and must be disposed properly, in accordance with Health Department and EPA standards.Vendors are asked to respect the festival grounds. Please place temporary flooring if using grease or other products that can leave marks on the grounds.
  • CannaBrew will provide trash removal throughout the event.
  • Vendors are responsible for the condition and cleanliness of their site during festival hours and after teardown. Site condition and cleanliness will be factors in determining vendor participation in 2024.
  • CannaBrew management is responsible for public safety. If the grounds need to be evacuated for any reason such as weather or another unforeseen incident. Vendors must comply with CannaBrew management decisions and must stop selling immediately if told to do so by CannaBrew management
  • INSURANCE – All vendors must provide CannaBrew with a certificate of insurance that lists CannaBrew as additionally insured under a $1 million general liability insurance policy.
  • You must fill out a temporary health permit and turn it into Smokey River 420 Fest. We will provide all required paperwork to you after your acceptance.
