Bastrop County Health Fair Exhibitor / Early Registration

DATE AND TIME:  Saturday, August 12, 2023, 10:00am to 5:00pm                      LOCATION:  Bastrop Convention Center, 1408 Chestnut Street, Bastrop TX 78602   HOURS:              Move In/Set Up: Saturday, August 12 — 8:00am to 9:45amRequired Operating Hours**:  Saturday, August 12 — 10:00am to 5:00pmTear Down/Move Out:    Saturday, August 12— 5:00pm to 7:00pm All Exhibitors MUST be in operation during Required Operating Hours. Late set-up or early teardown is not permitted and will exclude Exhibitor from future events. 

The Bastrop County Health Fair is an initiative of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce. The purpose is to familiarize the community of the health-related agencies in our county, to promote preventative health care, encourage exercise, and suggest good nutrition. And, to educate the public on healthy living and share basic life-saving information through mini workshops. The Health Fair is held in August and is FREE to the public.

EXHIBITOR REQUIREMENTS:   · All Exhibitors must have a health-related focus. · Approved Exhibitors agree to promote the event through their own customers/clients via email, website, social media, provided signage and flyers, or other means. Recommended:   · Have an interactive activity at your booth to engage attendees. · Provide a “register to win” at your booth, allowing you to gather attendee information.   SALES TAX ID: If selling merchandise , Exhibitor is responsible for collecting and reporting 8.25% sales tax collected in  Bastrop County. Along with the application, you must submit a copy of your sales tax permit, which must also be displayed in your booth during the event. Permits can be acquired through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts office at the following website https://comptroller.texas.gov/taxes/sales/ or by calling (800) 252-5555.   EQUIPMENT: If you have signed up and been approved for electricity, you will need to bring extension cords to ensure you are able to reach the outlets in the Convention Center. Any other equipment needed (lighting, light bulbs, electrical equipment, etc.) must be provided by the vendor.  ___________________________________________________ All items are subject to change.  We will notify applicants of any changes to the schedule/event/setup.   Failure to abide by Health Fair Committee rules and standards of good conduct may result in immediate, permanent expulsion from the Bastrop County Health Fair and all future Bastrop Chamber of Commerce events. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I, the undersigned exhibitor, hereby release the City of Bastrop and the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce from any liability resulting in damage and/or their bodily injury during the Bastrop County Health Fair. 
I understand that I am responsible for maintaining the proper Bastrop County Sales Tax permit and that I will have it available during the event as well as supplying a copy to the Health Fair Committee with my application. 
The undersigned has read the rules and regulations and agrees to participate in the Bastrop County Health Fair in Bastrop, Texas. The undersigned agrees to abide by all rules set by the Health Fair Committee.
