An extra donation to HERO, our charity for Anime Fargo 2023! HERO, the Healthcare Equipment Recycling Organization, is dedicated to providing access to affordable medical equipment and supplies for all. Based in Fargo, HERO was started in 1996 by a group of local operating room nurses and became a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 2000 with the intent to reduce hospital waste from opened but unused equipment. With the help of global partnerships, HERO's supplies have now reached 140 countries and provided thousands with life-changing medical equipment, redirecting more than 2 million pounds of medical waste away from local landfills in the process. https://herofargo.org/
