Get ready for one of the most crowd-pleasing events of the day—the Chihuahua Dog Race in downtown Decatur! Open to purebred Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mix breeds, this fun and friendly race welcomes pups weighing 15 lbs or less. All participating dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, and owners are required to provide the most recent shot records prior to racing. For the safety of all guests and pets, dogs must remain leashed at all times when not actively racing, and event organizers reserve the right to deny participation based on behavior. Bring your fastest (or cutest!) pup—the winning dog will take home a $250 prize and plenty of bragging rights! ?
