LEVEL 1: THE BASICS Learn the art of the Catrina flower crown in this beginner-friendly workshop rooted in Día de los Muertos tradition. La Catrina, one of the most iconic symbols of the holiday, is almost always adorned with a crown of flowers, representing the beauty and dignity we carry even in death. In this first class you’ll build your foundation. We’ll cover the basics of crown construction, color theory inspired by traditional ofrenda palettes, and how to select and layer flowers for a balanced, beautiful result. You’ll leave with a finished crown you made with your own hands and the skills to build on in Level 2. LEVEL 1 iIS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED BEFORE TAKING LEVEL 2 &3. No experience needed. Just bring yourself and your creativity. All materials included.
