Freedom Sings USA – Honoring Veterans Through Story and Song As part of the Blue Grass Federal Pumpkin Festival, we are proud to present a special tribute to our local heroes in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. This year, the festival will include a powerful program featuring Freedom Sings USA, an organization dedicated to honoring veterans by preserving and sharing their stories through music. Freedom Sings USA is brining professional songwriters from Nashville, Tennessee, many of whom have written chart topping songs for major artists. During the event, these talented writers will sit down individually with selected local veterans to listen to their personal stories stories of service, sacrifice, resilience, and patriotism. From these heartfelt conversations, the songwriters will create original songs inspired by each veteran’s journey. The program will culminate in the Legacy of Freedom Concert, where the songwriters will perform the newly written songs live, sharing the veterans’ stories with the community. This moving event allows families, friends, and the public to celebrate and reflect on the courage and dedication of those who have served our country.
