The 38th Volunteer of the Year Awards Luncheon will recognize adults, young people, and organizations that, through volunteer efforts, help to make Schaumburg a better place. Admission to attend the luncheon is $40 per person; however, there is no charge for nominees. Volunteer of the Year Awards Luncheon Wednesday, April 22, 2026 11:30 a.m. - Cash Bar 12 to approximately 2:30 p.m. - Luncheon, Keynote Speech & Awards Family style lunch including Chopped Salad (Red Onion, Tomato, Kalamata Olives, Pepperoncini, Housemade Croutons, Mozzarella, Vinaigrette), Fresh Baked Bread, Fettuccine Alfredo (Parmesan, Pecorino Romano, Roasted Garlic), Lasagna (Beef & Italian Sausage, Herb-Ricotta, Marinara), Vera's Lemon Cookies, Regular and Decaffeinated Coffee, Hot or Iced tea, and assorted Sodas.
