Waterside Candlelight TDOR Memorial

Join us on Sunday, November 16 at 4:00 PM at the Central Florida Fairgrounds Amphitheater for a free and meaningful gathering in honor of Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR).
Though TDOR is officially observed on November 20, we gather this Sunday to honor its spirit at the Waterside Candlelight Memorial — a serene, reflective space where candlelight glows across the water, symbolizing hope, remembrance, and the enduring light of every trans and non-binary life lost to violence. Together, we will read the names of those lost this year, shine candles in their memory, uplift our community, and stand united in love and resilience. This moment of reflection reminds us that remembrance and action cannot be contained to a single day.
Important Information:
Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The event is held on private, secure property — fully fenced with on-site security and easy access to free parking.
While this is a private event, it is open to the community. Come Out With Pride reserves the right to refuse entry or ask any individual to leave at our discretion, including—but not limited to—behavior that is disruptive, disrespectful, or poses a risk to the safety and well-being of any member of our community.
