World Famous Blue Crab Festival – General Terms & Conditions May 16-17, 2026 Organized by the Little River Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center Location: 4469 Mineola Ave., Little River, SC 295661. Acceptance of Terms By attending, participating in, or exhibiting at the World Famous Blue Crab Festival, all individuals—including but not limited to guests, vendors, sponsors, performers, volunteers, and staff—agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions as set forth by the Little River Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. 2. Admission & Attendance The Blue Crab Festival is a ticketed, gated event. Entry requires a valid admission ticket or official credential. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The event is held rain or shine. unless weather conditions are deemed unsafe by festival management (e.g., lightning, high winds, flooding). In such cases, event updates will be provided in real-time via the festival website and official social media channels. No refunds or rainchecks will be issued due to weather-related changes, closures, or delays. Entry is subject to security screening. The Chamber reserves the right to deny entry or remove individuals for any reason, including unsafe or disruptive behavior. 3. Code of Conduct To maintain a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment, all participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly. Prohibited behaviors include but are not limited to: Harassment, discrimination, or offensive language Intoxication or disorderly conduct Unauthorized solicitation or distribution of materials Vandalism or tampering with event infrastructure Entry into restricted areas (e.g., VIP Tent without credentials) Violation of these rules may result in removal from the festival and/or notification of law enforcement. 4. Weather Policy The Blue Crab Festival is a rain-or-shine event and will proceed as scheduled unless weather conditions are deemed unsafe by festival management (e.g., lightning, high winds, flooding). In such cases, event updates will be provided in real-time via the festival website and official social media channels. No refunds or rainchecks will be issued due to weather-related changes, closures, or delays. 5. Liability & Personal Risk All attendees and participants enter the festival grounds at their own risk. The Little River Chamber of Commerce, its staff, sponsors, and partners are not responsible for: Personal injury, illness, or accidents Lost, stolen, or damaged items Damage to vehicles or property Any consequential damages arising from changes, delays, or cancellations By attending, you agree to hold harmless the organizers, sponsors, vendors, and affiliated partners from any such claims. 6. Photography, Video & Media Usage By entering the festival grounds, all attendees and participants grant permission for their image, likeness, voice, or performance to be photographed, recorded, and used by the Chamber or its affiliates for marketing and promotional purposes, without compensation or further notice. Media professionals and content creators must request prior approval for commercial photography or filming. 7. Prohibited Items The following items are not permitted on festival grounds: Outside alcohol or glass containers Weapons of any kind (including pocket knives) Fireworks or explosives Unauthorized drones or aerial devices Bicycles, skateboards, or motorized scooters Coolers (exceptions may be made for medical needs or baby items) 8. Alcohol & Smoking Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase inside the festival to those 21 and older with valid ID. Public intoxication will not be tolerated and may result in removal. Smoking and vaping are allowed only in designated areas, if provided. 9. Pets & Animals No pets or animals are allowed on festival grounds, including vendor areas, with the exception of trained service animals as defined by the ADA. Approved animal-related exhibitors must provide insurance and obtain advance permission from event organizers. 10. Accessibility The festival grounds include areas of grass, gravel, and pavement. While the Chamber strives to ensure accessible facilities and viewing areas, terrain limitations may exist. For ADA accommodation inquiries, please contact the Chamber in advance. 11. Vendors, Sponsors & Performers All participating vendors, sponsors, and entertainers are required to comply with the specific terms outlined in their respective agreements, in addition to this general policy. Failure to comply may result in dismissal from the event and forfeiture of fees or benefits. 12. Lost & Found A Lost & Found station will be located at the Chamber's main booth. Items not claimed by the end of the event may be donated or discarded. 13. Right to Refuse or Remove The Chamber reserves the right to: Refuse admission to any individual Remove any attendee, vendor, or participant who violates these terms Modify entertainment, attractions, or vendor layout without notice Cancel or postpone the event, in whole or in part, due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., extreme weather, public safety concerns, acts of God) 14.
