Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival® Parade Terms & Conditions Participation in the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival® Parades is subject to the following rules and guidelines. By registering, all groups agree to comply with these terms: Age Requirements: Children 5 and under are not permitted in either parade. Participants must be 8 years or older to march in the parade. Children 6 and above may ride in a vehicle or float. Distribution of Items: Throwing objects is strictly prohibited. Items may be handed directly to individuals along the parade route. Items that roll (e.g., beach balls, bouncy balls) are not permitted. Any group caught throwing items will not be invited to return the following year. Parade Flow & Spacing: All groups must maintain pace with the line of march. A minimum of 50 feet must be kept between your group and the one in front of you. Compliance: Failure to follow these terms may result in removal from the parade and exclusion from future Festival parades. A complete list of parade rules and regulations will be sent at a later time.
