This year, we proudly honor Kumano I Ke Ala (KIKA), a Native Hawaiian–led nonprofit serving West Kaua‘i through culturally grounded education, sustainable agriculture, land stewardship, and youth development. Guided by aloha ʻāina and traditional knowledge, Kumano I Ke Ala works to revitalize local food systems, strengthen community connections, and nurture the next generation of cultural stewards while caring for ʻāina and heritage.
