Grow & Learn Community Garden Tickets

Are you looking for a fun gardening activity for kids? Join us this summer for the Grow & Learn Garden Club for Kids (ages 8-12). By purchasing this ticket, you have enrolled your child in all 3 Grow & Learn Garden Club for Kids workshops. Every child participating will need a ticket. Parents are encouraged to stay and learn with their kiddos or hang out at the seating area by the garden, but do not need to purchase a ticket. All workshops are located in the garden at the Grow & Learn Community Garden located at 1051 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. Workshop Schedule: • Planting Day: Saturday, May 16, 10 AM – 12 PM • Maintenance Day: Saturday, July 19, 10 AM – 12 PM • Harvest Day: Saturday, August 16, 10 AM – 12 PM What kids will learn: • How to plant and care for a garden • Soil health and weed identification • Harvesting and using veggies in meals • Fun garden crafts

Pottery Party! Join us on Saturday, June 7th from 12-1:30 pm for a garden art activity IN the garden.* During this art session in the garden, we will make a Drinking Cup for Bees with Casey! This activity is suitable for ages 6+. All participating will need a ticket. This ticket is to make 1 bee drinker, waterer, saucer, or cup. Casey will fire these pieces and then further communication will be provided about picking up your finished pieces! *In the event of inclement weather, an email will be sent out to the email on file with the ticket the Friday before the event, should we need to move indoors.
