5K Race Terms and Conditions Eligibility This event is open to all participants, regardless of age or experience level. By registering for the event, you confirm that you are physically able to participate in the race and understand any risks involved. Registration Fee The registration fee for this event is $5. Payment must be completed before the event date for registration to be valid. Event Day Participants must check in at the registration table before the event begins. Refunds All registration fees are non-refundable. In the event that the race is canceled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, participants will be notified in advance, but no refunds will be issued. Health and Safety Participants are encouraged to consult with a healthcare professional before engaging in any physical activity. By registering, participants agree to take full responsibility for their own health and safety during the event. Medical personnel will be available on-site. Race Rules All participants must stay on the designated race path and adhere to safety guidelines. No pets or bicycles are allowed on the race route. Participants with strollers are encouraged to start in the back. Be mindful of other participants and your surroundings. Participants must respect all event volunteers, staff, and fellow runners/walkers. Liability Waiver By participating, you agree to release Baltimore City Recreation & Parks and any affiliated sponsors, partners, volunteers, or event staff from liability for any injuries, losses, or damages sustained during the event. Photography By registering for this event, you consent to the use of any photographs or videos taken during the event for promotional or marketing purposes. Weather and Cancellations The event will proceed rain or shine, except in cases of extreme weather or safety concerns. In the event of a cancellation, participants will be informed via email or social media updates. Age Limit There is no specific age limit for participants. However, children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the race. Behavior and Conduct Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and safe manner during the event. Any disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in disqualification from the race without refund. Changes to Event The organizer reserves the right to change the event details (such as time, location, and course) if necessary. Any changes will be communicated to participants in advance.
