The Spooktacular is our annual Downtown Halloween Festival—a fun-filled community celebration for all ages hosted by the NW Downtown Merchants Association . We have a vibrant atmosphere packed with local vendors, trick-or-treat stations, candy galore, games, and delicious food. Kids can dress up and collect treats in a safe, festive environment, while families, who are also encouraged to dress up, can explore everything downtown has to offer. We welcome donations of candy or funds to help make this event possible. Every contribution ensures that all candy is free and that families can enjoy a fun and safe Halloween experience. For those who would like extra recognition, there’s the option to sponsor a candy station. Sponsors who choose this option will have their name featured on the table where their candy is distributed — a great way to show your support while connecting your business or organization to this exciting community celebration. Your donation helps: - Bring joy and fun to thousands of children and families. -Support local small businesses by increasing foot traffic and exposure. - Promote community pride and growth in Downtown North Wilkesboro. Support the 2025 Spooktacular Costume Contest! ? This year, SafeSpot will proudly serve as the Costume Contest Organizer for the Downtown North Wilkesboro Spooktacular. The Costume Contest is one of the most exciting parts of the event, drawing families and children from across the region to showcase their creativity and festive spirit. We are seeking donations to help fund the prizes for the contest. There will be 7 different prizes, 6 categories and an overall best costume. Our goal is for a cash prize of $100 each with the overall best costume prize valued at a minimum of $100. Sponsorship Options: Single Prize Sponsor: Sponsor an individual prize and be recognized as the sponsor for that specific award. Multiple Prize Sponsor: Sponsor more than one prize and receive recognition for each. Sponsor Recognition: Your name/business will be featured across social media posts from both the Downtown North Wilkesboro Merchants Association and SafeSpot. Sponsors will also be recognized at the event as supporters of the Costume Contest. Your support helps make the Costume Contest fun, memorable, and accessible for all attendees, while also connecting your business or organization with a vibrant, community-centered event.
