Prairie Fest began in 2001 as a picnic to promote community involvement and encourage togetherness. The one-day picnic celebration grew to a four-day carnival and festival. In recent years, nearly 20,000 people have attended Prairie Fest to sample culinary delights, enjoy carnival rides, hear live music, and watch an amazing fireworks display!
