About the event

The Charlotte Chalk Art Festival (CCAF), a FREE, family-friendly two-day festival, will be held at NoDa Brewing Company North End, 150 W 32nd St, Charlotte, NC 28206, on October 17th and 18th from 12pm to 5pm each day.CCAF features a street chalk art competition for ages 12-17 and 18+. Festival goers will watch and cheer on artist competitors as they create a street chalk art gallery. Attendees can participate in various art-focused activities, including our community chalk art zone, listen to live local music offerings, including an All Ages Open Mic, and patronize curated arts, crafts, retail, food, and beverage vendors.

About the application

Become A Logistics, Stage, and/or Awards Sponsor! The Charlotte Chalk Art Festival (CCAF2026), a FREE, family-friendly two-day festival, will be held at NoDa Brewing Company North End, 150 W 32nd St, Charlotte, NC 28206 on October 17th and 18th from 12pm to 5pm each day. CCAF2026 features a friendly street chalk art competition between youth, ages 12 to 17 (individuals or teams of up to three participants), and individual adults, ages 18 and up. Festival goers will watch and cheer on the competitors and the artists creating the street chalk art gallery while enjoying various art-focused activities, music offerings, while patronizing our curated arts, crafts, retail, food, and beverage vendors.

Terms & Conditions

Eventful Expressions NPC, a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization, serves as our Charlotte Chalk Art Festival (CCAF2026) Fiscal Sponsor. Eventful Expressions NPC is authorized to solicit financial sponsorship and donations to support CCAF2026. Eventful Expressions NPC is the initial recipient of your financial sponsorship. After the payment process through the Eventeny system is completed, funds are used to purchase equipment or event-related materials that align with this sponsorship level commitment. If you prefer to pay by check or use an ACH process, please let us know, and we will provide additional details. The Charlotte Chalk Art Festival (CCAF2026) committee reserves the right to deny any application for any reason. If accepted, you will be REQUIRED to sign a Vendor Liability Form. CCAF2026 is a two-day RAIN OR SHINE EVENT EXCEPT FOR SEVERE WEATHER – NO REFUNDS ONCE ACCEPTED. CCAF2026 committee reserves the right to CLOSE, DISCONTINUE ANY ACTIVITY, or DELAY the festival on either day due to extreme weather or public safety concerns, without refunds. We reserve the right to POSTPONE or CANCEL the festival before October 17th should there be an in-advance warning of extreme weather, or other circumstances that make it difficult for the festival to be held. Should there be a POSTPONEMENT, the festival will be moved to a TBD date, and all approved vendors, artists, and sponsors will retain their space and/or brand position, without refund. CCAF2026 reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time at our sole discretion. When we change the the Terms, in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms & Conditions.

Prices

CCAF2026-Performance/Stage Sponsor	$2,500.00	Non-refundable	No Charge At Time Of Application: Your financial support helps us hire multiple, local to the Carolinas, musical acts, from emerging artists to established bands. Your tax-deductible financial support, thanks to our Eventful Expressions NPC, a 501(c)(3) non-profit partnership, will also help us cover some of the following stage-related costs as well: Stage Manager, Sound System, some Musical Instruments, Microphones, and stage-specific signage. Sponsorship Offerings: •Your Hyperlinked Company Logo will be added to our website & Eventeny page. •Your Company Logo will appear on sponsor-related social media posts with hashtags & tagging. •Your Company Name or Logo, if allowed, will appear on our press release and online calendar entries, i.e., NoDa News, Charlotte on the Cheap, Patch, Charlotte Now, etc. •Your Hyperlinked Company Logo will appear on the Eventbrite page, logo on festival signage, and you will receive honorable mentions from the festival stage. •Your Company Logo will appear on stage-specific festival signage. •Your Company Logo (vector image required) will be added to the back of festival t-shirts (if received by the deadline), worn by artists, judges, & crew members. •You will have the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business from the festival stage and introduce one-to-two performers both days. •We will provide one (1) white 10x10 weighted Tent (no walls) for your use during the two-day festival. •We will provide one (1) 6-foot table and two (2) chairs. *** Note: tents are removed from the parking lot area at the end of Day 1 and returned to the same position on Day 2. •In addition, your Company Name will appear on a black and white name plate at the bottom of TBD chalk art design in the main competition area. *Based on the number of competitors.
CCAF2026-Logistics Sponsor	$1,000.00	Non-refundable	No Charge At Time Of Application - Your tax-deductible financial support, thanks to our Eventful Expressions NPC, a 501(c)(3) non-profit partnership, helps us cover costs associated with festival signage, competitors, volunteers, and crew meals, building of large scale chalk boards, festival equipment (dollies, straps, trash bins, speakers, etc.), including U-Haul rental, gas, and any short-term storage of festival items. We rent event equipment from the Charlotte Tool Bank, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit, and our current order has a Retail Value of $12,000 with a potential local community impact of approximately 1,000 people, including competitors, volunteers, crew, vendors, and attendees. Sponsorship Offerings: •Your Hyperlinked Company Logo will be added to our website & Eventeny page. •Your Company Logo will appear on sponsor-related social media posts with hashtags & tagging. •Your Company Name or Logo, if allowed, on our press release and online calendar entries, i.e., NoDa News, Charlotte on the Cheap, Patch, Charlotte Now, etc. •Your Hyperlinked Company Logo will be placed on our Eventbrite page. •You will receive honorable mentions from the festival stage. •Your Company Logo will be added to festival marketing materials and signage. •You will have the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business from the festival stage and introduce one performer on either day. •Your Company logo (vector image required) will be added to the back of festival t-shirts (if received by the deadline), worn by artists, judges, and crew members. •We will provide one (1) white 10x10 weighted Tent (no walls) for your use during the two-day festival. •We will also provide one (1) 6’ table and two (2) chairs. *** Note: tents are removed from the parking lot area at the end of Day 1 and returned to the same position on Day 2. •In addition, your Company Name will appear on a black and white name plate at the bottom of a TBD chalk art design.
CCAF2026-Awards Sponsor	$600.00	Non-refundable	No Charge At Time Of Application - Your tax-deductible financial support, thanks to our Eventful Expressions NPC, a 501(c)(3) non-profit partnership, helps us cover our Cash Awards for each category; ages 12 to 17 individual youth and youth team (up to three), and ages 18 and above individual adult artist. Sponsorship Offerings: •Your Hyperlinked Company Logo on our website & Eventeny portal. •Your Company Logo will appear on sponsor-related social media posts with hashtags & tagging. •Your Company Logo on festival marketing materials and signage. •Your representative can take to the stage for a few comments before announcing one of the winners during Sunday’s Awards Ceremony. •Your Company logo (vector image required) will be added to the back of festival t-shirts (if received by the deadline), worn by artists, judges, and crew members. •Your Company Name will appear on a black and white name plate at the bottom of one (1) chalk art design in the main competition area.
