Barknic is Wise Animal Rescue’s indoor, fun‑filled day for dogs and humans taking place Saturday, August 8th from 12–5pm at Lackawanna Station in Montclair, NJ.

Terms & Conditions

By submitting a sponsorship application for Barknic, hosted by Wise Animal Rescue, applicants agree to the following terms: 1. Application & Review Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. All applications are reviewed based on availability, category balance, and alignment with event needs. Wise Animal Rescue reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its sole discretion. 2. Approval & Payment Sponsorship spots are confirmed only upon written approval from Wise Animal Rescue and successful processing of payment. No charges will be made unless an application is officially approved. 3. Waitlist Status Applicants not initially accepted may be placed on a waitlist. If a spot becomes available, applicants will be contacted in order of selection criteria and category fit. 4. Cancellation & Refund Policy All sponsorship payments are final unless otherwise stated in writing. If Wise Animal Rescue cancels the event, sponsorship fees will be refunded or credited toward a future event at our discretion. No refunds will be issued for vendor cancellations after approval. 5. Event Participation Approved sponsors agree to comply with all event rules, setup requirements, load-in/load-out instructions, and guidelines provided in the Vendor Packet. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund. 6. Space & Placement Booth placement is determined by Wise Animal Rescue and may be adjusted as needed for event flow, safety, or logistical reasons. 7. Liability Sponsors participate at their own risk. Wise Animal Rescue, Lackawanna Station, and affiliated partners are not responsible for loss, damage, theft, or injury during the event. 8. Weather & Force Majeure Barknic is a rain-or-shine event unless otherwise stated. In the case of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, Wise Animal Rescue reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event. 9. Media & Promotion By participating, sponsors grant Wise Animal Rescue permission to use event photos, videos, and branding for promotional purposes across digital and print media. 10. Conduct & Safety Sponsors are expected to maintain a safe, respectful, and animal-friendly environment. Any behavior deemed unsafe, disruptive, or not aligned with the mission of Wise Animal Rescue may result in removal from the event without refund. 11. Sales & Tax Responsibility Sponsors are solely responsible for handling all sales transactions, including collection and reporting of applicable taxes. 12. Agreement Submission of an application constitutes agreement to these Terms & Conditions.
