About the Program
Smack Down & Sketches combines live comic art, community engagement, entertainment, and fundraising to support Panels of Hope, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing positivity and encouragement to children facing long-term medical challenges.
Funds raised support:
Distribution of free comics to hospitalized children
Artist visits and sketch opportunities
Care packages and comic reading programs
Creation of the 2027 Panels of Hope Storytelling Anthology, sharing real-life stories of hope from patients, families, caregivers, and survivors
