About the event

The Manga Day Festival is an inaugural, free-admission celebration of International Manga Day scheduled for Sunday, November 1st, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hosted at the Olive + Pine in Avondale Estates, Georgia, the festival is designed as a family-friendly, bringing together local sequential artists, young creators, and fans for a day of high-energy activations, including live manga art demonstrations, sequential drawing contests, and a Cosplay Runway Showcase. The festival is coordinated and organized by **The Comic Workshop**, Metro Atlanta's only studio dedicated exclusively to comic art education. Founded by the husband-and-wife team of Phillip and Stephanie Fleming—both professional artists and educators—the studio's mission is to empower the next generation of visual storytellers. Through the festival, the organizers aim to create an accessible space for fans to geek out while connecting the community to the professional paths available in the comic and animation industries.

Designed as a 1-day celebration of International Manga Day bringing together professional artists, young creators, food lovers, and local businesses. Terms & Conditions

MANGA DAY FESTIVAL 2026 — SPONSORSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS By submitting a Sponsorship Application and/or signing a Sponsorship Agreement with The Comic Workshop LLC (“Organizer”) for the Manga Day Festival 2026 (“Event”), the sponsoring company or individual (“Sponsor”) agrees to the following terms and conditions: 1. Payment Terms & Due Dates Payment Due Date: Full payment of the agreed sponsorship fee is due within seven (7) calendar days of application approval and invoice issuance. Execution of Deliverables: Sponsorship benefits, promotional placement, logo insertions, digital announcements, and physical asset execution will only commence after full payment has been received and cleared. Failure to submit payment within the 7-day window may result in the forfeiture of category exclusivity or reserved sponsorship assets. 2. Finality & Non-Refundability All Sales Are Final: All sponsorship fees paid to The Comic Workshop LLC are 100% non-refundable. Cancellation by Sponsor: Should the Sponsor elect to cancel their participation or sponsorship after signing or application approval, no refunds, credits, or offsets will be issued. 3. Sponsorship Tier Upgrades & Downgrades Upgrades Permitted: Sponsors may request to upgrade their sponsorship tier or add additional sponsored assets at any time prior to the Event, subject to asset availability and payment of the additional balance. No Downgrades: Once the agreement is executed or application approved, no downgrades to lower sponsorship tiers or reduction of commitment amounts are permitted. 4. Sponsor Deliverables, Assets & Deadlines Asset Submission: The Sponsor is solely responsible for providing all necessary promotional assets—including high-resolution logos (.PNG, .SVG, or vector PDF format), brand guidelines, digital graphics, and promotional materials—by the deadlines communicated by the Organizer. Late Submissions: The Organizer is not responsible for omitted logos or reduced promotional exposure resulting from late asset submissions by the Sponsor. No partial or full refunds will be issued for missed deliverables due to late submission of assets by the Sponsor. 5. Intellectual Property & Brand Usage Grant of License: The Sponsor grants The Comic Workshop LLC a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the Sponsor’s logo, trademarks, and brand name in connection with promoting, executing, and documenting the Manga Day Festival 2026 across print, digital, web, and social media channels. Brand Alignment: The Organizer reserves the right to review and approve all Sponsor marketing materials distributed or displayed at the Event to ensure alignment with the Event’s family-friendly standards and community guidelines. 6. Event Postponement & Cancellation Force Cancellation: The Organizer shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies, municipal restrictions, or facility unavailability. Rescheduling: In the event of postponement or relocation of the Event, all sponsorship agreements and benefits will automatically transfer to the rescheduled date without additional fee or penalty. Payments remain non-refundable in the event of rescheduling. 7. Limitation of Liability The Comic Workshop LLC, its founders, officers, employees, and event venue partners (including Olive + Pine) are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of business, or loss of profits arising out of or in connection with sponsorship participation in the Event.
